Re: Red loctite

I don't really have much of value to add here, but I wanted to add one more data point for consideration in the hopes that Spyderco is still collecting them. I personally have never disassembled a folding knife of any brand and don't see myself doing so in the future. However, I have adjusted the pi...

Re: Slight bump near Delica 4 tip?

They all do that. It's to give the tip a bit more strength because of the FFG. It can be easily adjusted with just some sandpaper if one so desires.

Re: Does anyone EDC a slipit, if so what are your reasons? Pros/cons. Thanks in advance

I just received a UKPK in the mail. It's light, sharp as heck, and has plenty of blade. Just playing around with it, I can't see where this thing could close on you under any realistic use for a knife this size, especially with a finger on the choil. I plan on making it my EDC for awhile to test it ...

Re: UKPK thoughts. PIC HEAVY

I went ahead and ordered one of these largely because of this thread. What reallly sold it to me was the comparison shot with the Delica, which is one of my favs.

Yeah I have since figured that out. I think I lost track of it since I don't remember seeing any updates during Shot.

Re: One-Eyed Jack

I know what you mean, but something about it compels me. The only thing that would turn me off completely is if the blade were too short and I fear it may be.

Any more info been released about this one? I am really interested in the blade size since it's kinda hard to tell from pics.

Re: What's up with the terrible quality control on the Delica 4s?

Any brand can have a few bad ones slip through. That's why I like to deal with dealers that will look over their inventory and pick one out to my specs. Not all are willing to do so on products that aren't netting them huge profits, but the good ones will.

My buddy was given one of those recently as a gift. I had never seen one and did some research. Definitely an interesting story.

Re: Manbug Salt and "Fish Hunter" confirmed?

It was my understanding that Spyderco had a difficult time with H1 and FFG. I wonder how they do it with the Manbug? Because it's so small maybe?

Re: Spyderco Higo , Japanese Ethnic Suggestion?

I would definitely be down for one, especially if the price is right. It's not like they haven't done friction folders before, so this should be doable.

I have seen a pic of a Southard regrind on a Pac Salt. I dont know if its something he still does though or if he will do FFG.
