1) M390 - gets very sharp, killer with good heat treatment
2) S35VN - outstanding all around SS for EDC knives
3) M4 - great edge retention, sharpens beautifully

Probably one of my Gayle Bradleys, GB1 or GB2. Deciding between them, now that would be a hard choice!

Re: the one that started it all (for me)
I bought a Native 5 LW in 110V last July. Never could see the appeal before that, for some reason.
I now have about 10 Spydies, and that's after giving three away to my sons at Christmas :)

Current SOTC
Having recently got into Spyderco knives, I have amassed a small collection of different sizes, styles, and steels. And before you ask, yes, I did have a couple of PM2s but gave them to my sons. I really enjoy trying out the different steels that Spyderco makes available. I am just waiting on a GB1,...

Re: Slysz Bowie
I recently went to my local B&M store to try out a Slysz. I'd been on the verge of ordering one for a while, but had noted some of the ambivalent comments on the fora, and didn't fancy spending that much (new, around $450 CDN) on a knife that wasn't a sure thing. Bear in mind that I had previous...

Re: Native in 110v?
The Native is very ergonomic, with a stout blade for EDC. S110V will be more stainless and probably longer wearing than ZDP-189, although without maintaining the razor sharp edge for very long

I sent away for the KW Military with the 204P blade. Arrived from the States just before Christmas, and I wasn't even charged custom fees! I live in Ontario, BTW

Anyone swopped blades from Mil 52100/CF and KW 204P/G10?
I just got in a KW Military sprint with the 204P steel. I swopped out this blade for the 51200 in my other Military. I was prepared to change liners, etc, but lockup/centering appeared the same after switching just the blades, so I did not need to totally dismantle the knives. I love the CF in the 5...

Re: Project: Ultimate EDC Rotation...
Probably the best thread I have read so far on this forum! The comparisons to standard models really help to distinguish the features of the more exotic offerings.
