Re: I should uh, probably get a Chaparral. Right?

The Chaparral is a knife I want to love, but that cliché issue of "lock bar too thin, hurts thumb" unfortunately made it a deal breaker for me. The FRN was nice, very similar to Seki but more like Kinects vs Lego. The CF/G10 was alright as well. Perhaps three's a charm with the wood handles, and I'...

Re: Delica Wharnie Exclusives...MOARRR!!

I wanted a Delica Wharncliffe HAP40 so bad I paid MSRP for it. No regrets. M390, S90V, etc. would be excellent. Stainless steel for the sweaty hands.

Re: What happened to the Boye Dent?

I've been waiting for this topic to be discussed here. I had an issue with the back locks on the Native Chief and the Siren; like others mentioned, in the hammer grip (and other grips) my palm would actuate the lock bar enough to make the blade loose. They didn't feel safe and I ended up selling the...

Re: How about a hypothetical?

I'm guessing Eric would suggest a Sal design.
Since I enjoy carrying 2 folders, in reality I get to carry one from each :)

"Extension" or "Extend"
One of the other synonyms perhaps.

That's gonna be a great alternative to the Endura or Police. Call it the Extension or something.

Re: What’s up with the military?

I keep coming close to buying a millie. It’s got a sort of odd “vintage spyderco” aesthetic that I can’t quite shake. The simple construction, the soft corners on the bits of the handle around the pivot. I’m not even really into big knives, the spydiechef is about my limit. But it’s oddly alluring....

Re: Cruwear Endura

Good question. I sold my Delica in CW and regret it a little. A new Endura Cruwear with that gray FRN would bring back that joy for me, and I think CW in a larger blade makes sense.

"Torture Test" cringe videos = childhood nostalgia for Millennial

I grew up in the 90s and early two thousands, which puts me (and my generation) in a weird spot. Many of us remember transitioning from pen and paper to IMac training (failed). They still taught us cursive. I didn't get a smartphone until I was in my 20s. We had antennas on our TVs still, and we wat...

They are good to go if you have the funds. I bought from them before, no problems.

I think we're finally going to get a new Jester! ;)
Sweet, I hope its HAP40 or ZDP189. VTOKU is less enticing, but I'll buy one either way; that means VG10 will work for me too.

Another hope, not prediction, is the 2nd generation Military.

Re: sharpening cts 204p / 20cv / m390 on sharpmaker? sharpening tantos?

If you spend enough time on the medium triangle stones any steel will get sharp. As long as the technique, angle, pressure, etc. are correct the Sharpmaker will get it done.

I've just been carrying the Tanto PM2 for the past few days. The only Para2 I decided to not install the Lynch deep carry clip; OEM clip makes it easier to pull out of the pocket.

I enjoy the Compression Lock Lil Native, but am also eager to have a Backlock Lil Native with a Sprint treatment. Backlock Lil Native with Cruwear and gray G10 (or even smooth black like KC exclusives) please.

I've never had an all black Spyderco before, so I'm stoked to have a tanto PM2 on the way.
