Re: DigDug72, thanks for the inspiration

And was the hole expanded as well? I remember the Spyderhole on the Southard was small. Very nice mod indeed.

It was in stock earlier at KnivesShipFree, but went out of stock just as I was submitting my order. I'll just wait for the second run. Congratulations to everyone who was able to snag one :)

Re: What's Spyderco's Consensus Grail Knife?

I agree that the Slysz Bowie seems to be one of the
most highly sought after Grails. When it was in regular production it was a Grail for me, so now imagine learning about the brand too late after the Bowie was discontinued.

Re: Sharpmaker Practice

The first knife used for practice on my Sharpmaker ended up having its edge ruined by my inexperience. 4 years later and lots of repetitive motion got the right side stroke in control; that was definitely the most awkward part of learning, gaining the muscle memory.

This Lil guy

Spent some extra dough acquiring it on the secondary market but I waited so long for it (along with everyone else clamoring to get one) that it doesn't bother me too much. Can't wait to buy the S90V and CF version, hopefully soon.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

I have a Lil Native Rex45 inbound. I knew that it was gonna be hard to find one in stock unless I stayed up obsessively refreshing till 6 am, like in my early days of Spyderco Sprint hunting. So I picked one up at that secondary market inflated price, not too bad but still slightly shameful. To be h...

Re: Any Whispers on a Manix2 mini?

These are hypothetical specs for a Lil Manix2 to my liking. -wire clip -less than 3 inch blade -decreased blade width (in relation to Manix2) -CBBL and backlock versions available (2 options like Lil Native) -agree on the previous suggestion to maintain blade thinness -FRCP and G10 options -permanen...

Re: He-Man Military Lover's Club - Enlist Here

I like the Military so much that I broke my 6 month dry spell and bought a REX 45 version the other day. I'm stoked for it, but will probably be more excited when I can order a Military 2.

Here's the only Military I currently own, CF and TI with 204P

Re: Lc200n Dragonfly 2

I haven't bought a knife since November, its crazy. I would drop the cash on lc200n Wharncliffe Dragonfly though. If that doesn't happen soon, I'm gonna get the good ole VG10.

Pink wharnie please!
A Wharncliffe Dragonfly with something newer than VG10 is a dream knife for me, I'd buy it in H1. I could get down with a more subdued pink, maybe Salmon colored FRN.

Re: Has the Coronavirus affected your daily life?

I lost my bartending position due to restaurants ordered to only serve take out food. Waiting for unemployment. Selling off my knives to make ends meet. If you still have a job then please realize how lucky you are right now. Millions of others are in the same boat as me.

Re: Mule Team Survey

I once purchased a CPM20CV Mule. From SFO with the G10 and sheath as well. Did not have a chance to compare it to another Mule. I did like the performance of the Mule but wished it had thinner stock. I think this is the first time I've mentioned it since the initial purchase.
