Re: BBS Delica M390

I've had a lot of Delicas, and I gotta say this one is my favorite edition.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Thanks Bdubs... your "what's in my pocket" entry nudged me to buy the Stretch Ivory. I had been on the "do I really need another knife" fence, but now I'm eager to get one in hand. I love my ZDP and VTOKU Stretch's so much that this is a natural progression. How's the fit and finish on yours? I've ...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Ivory Stretch with that straight spine. Honestly, I've become a bit of a steel snob and basically never carry any of my VG10 blades. But this Stretch is such a cool design that I've just been enjoying this in my rotation ever since I got it the other day. Crossing my fingers for a HAP40 version one ...

Re: Straight Spine Stretch

Today I received my Ivory Stretch in the mail, used it a bit to cut up cardboard at work. Really dig the blade thinness compared to the PM2, as well as the straighter blade edge (less belly). The angle of the blade in relation to the handle feels good and purposeful. The ergos are excellent of cours...

Re: Smooth Black G10 slipped

I couldn't get on board with the smooth G10 on the Cruwear PM2. I ended up putting micarta scales on it. This was a few years ago ;)

Re: Military 2. What exactly is going on?

I highly prefer the PM2s grip, no groove there because it's on the back of the knife for the Compression Lock. I never enjoyed that liner lock cutout on the Military, always thought it felt off in my hand.

Re: Interest in Manix 2 with CPM REX45

I think LW FRCP Burnt Orange would look really cool, especially next to the HAP40 siblings from Seki, Japan.

Re: Your favorite sprint/exclusive released after join-date PLUS BONUS QUESTION

After I joined and learned about the Smurf PM2, I waited years for the 2nd release. It was worth waiting and not paying $400 on the secondary market. I instead spent that amount on buying 2 knives from the 2nd drop. The madness of hunting down discontinued models from years before I joined led me to...

Re: Compression Lock Military 2 Steel Poll

I am very pumped for this Military 2. Thank you so much Spyderco for listening to our insistent requests. If this model was released in 154CM, I would buy it without hesitation. A Comp lock Military has been my dream knife for years now. Though since we're asking for some sweet super steel, I voted ...

Interest in Manix 2 with CPM REX45

CPM REX 45 has been the most elusive blade steel (for me and I'm sure plenty other people). I see the Manix 2 as an opportunity to spread some more of this fabled steel to Spyderco fans; the first 3 models released are overpriced on the secondary market, and many aren't willing to pay $300 for a PM2...

Re: Military 2. What exactly is going on?

As someone who has had plenty of Millies over the years and carried them a lot, I can't wait for a tip up version. Tip down just sucks, and no one can argue that because its a personal preference; if you prefer tip down, thats cool too, but I'd never try to get you to change your opinion. As far as ...

Re: Spyderco 2019 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming

The Itamae Murray Carter chef knives with SuperBlue and burled G10 are in stock at GPK. The prices are heavier than I expected, still I'd like to get my hands on one eventually.

Re: Didn't realize how tiny it BEE

Good Lord! That's what it is compared to a MANBUG!?!?! I'm reminded of the book/movie Dune, where the Bene Gesserit use a tiny needle (poison tipped) called the gom jabbar to vanquish their foes. I think the gom jabbar is bigger than the McBee lol The Water of Life... Shai Hulud... Crysknives Bring...
