Re: Triangle Sharpmaker
I just bought a sharp maker for the first time. I have many very expensive sharpening systems and they will put a razor edge on a knife, but they are a pain to use and take a great deal of time to set up and configure correctly. For 80 bucks and a simple to use system this Spyderco tool is great. It...

I got the correct knife
After a I ordered a pm3 lightweight from Amazon, and got a knife with multiple problems, I now have a perfect pm3 lightweight. I got it from BladeHQ. Blade centering right on the money and after a little high quality oil it is nice and slick. It’s small and light in the pocket like my Delica but has...

Re: Endura Clipit
The hole was such a great innovation. Single handed use and rapid deployment, awesome. I guess a lot of folks don't realize just how significant that was back then. - John

Re: Endura Clipit
I agree with you RustyIron, the modern versions have surpassed the old veteran. Back when I bought that knife it was unique and different. Back then most pocket knives were big heavy folders, or little twin bladed folders. I immediately fell for the Spyderco. I could open and close it with one hand,...

Re: Endura Clipit
According to SpydieWiki, I think I have a gen 1 Endura. 1990 sounds like the year I bought it. It’s still a great knife.

Endura Clipit
I bought this knife a long time ago, and it is the reason for my Spyderco addiction. It has been well used. I thought I would post a picture of it and Spyderco experts could tell me about it.

Re: Para 3 Lightweight
I want to thank everyone for all the great responses, I learned a lot. My poor p3 lw was so stiff I had to hold the blade in one hand and the handle in the other and wrench it open. I can’t believe it would make it out of the factory in that condition. Since it came from Amazon, I sent it back. It w...

Re: Para 3 Lightweight
It said, "The Spyderco Store" under the description, shipped from Amazon, but the real seller was, "Hardware Sales Inc. 1380 Stonegate Way, Ferndale, WA 98248 US" I've had other purchases from Amazon that were ok, but this one was really bad. I guess its a crap shoot with Amazon....

Para 3 Lightweight
I ordered a Para 3 lightweight from Amazon Prime. I was very excited to get this knife. My PM2 is such a great knife I thought the Para 3 would be also. My new Para 3 is so stiff out of the box that it is impossible to finger flick and requires much force to open and close. My Pm2 is smooth as glass...

Re: Meadowlark
My new Meadowlark is broken in and working beautifully. Smooth and strong with no alterations by me, other than oil. Great knife.

Re: If I were upgrading the Delica
The Delica is great, there is only one design change I would upgrade. It is on both the Delica and the Endura. The handle has a rise right where my middle finger comes to rest. I have a large hand, so for me if that rise were changed into an small indentation it would pe perfect.

Re: Loosen stiff CC2 & ML2?
My first Cara Cara is excellent. I can flick it open. I really like the design of the handle. It's not on the level with my Endura but it's close. My second Meadowlark is good, but not as smooth as the Cara Cara.

Re: Loosen stiff CC2 & ML2?
I'm not really sure what the name of all the parts are. The spacer I referred to is the piece that holds the spring and has the little pin in it.

Re: Loosen stiff CC2 & ML2?
Like you I bought a ML2 and a CC2. The Cara Cara was great. The meadowlark was stiff so I tried all the standard things then decided to take it apart and polish the Tang and liners. Taking it apart was a mistake because the spacer that holds the spring was kind of messed up. I understand that Spyder...

Re: Meadowlark
Thanks for your help Chris. I bought a new knife as my fix. I don't know if I can get a replacement spacer or not. The moral of this story is don't take the Meadowlark apart.
