In all of these countries it totally depends where you go. As soon as you enter bigger cities / tourist hotspots be prepared that they might enforce knife laws. whenever possible, I try to combine a PE and a SE for main folders

Pacific SE is all you could need and wish for :o

I use simple plastic storage boxes originally made for DVDs.
Most folding knives have the right thickness to fit perfectly, no wiggle but not too compressed either
