I was reading through the Forums today and seen a link back to this post. I had inquired with my rep. at Spyderco regarding this back when this thread was current and apparently Spyderco was able to make this happen. National Knives is listed now.

I’m excited for this release myself . I have really become fond of the UKPK after getting the Ti model . Normally a large knife guy but have been adding more smaller knives to the herd . MG2

The most recent design is only a hand made Prototype that Roque made, but it's totally different from the last large version, except that it has 2 blades. Sorry I can't say more. If there is interest, I'll chat with Eric and the Team to see if it's something we may want to try to squeeze in ...

The linered G10 C44 Dyad sprint they did a while back was too big and bulky and heavy compared to the original linerless micarta version (And the blades uncomfortably higher when closed, though I don't know if that was just mine). If the design ever gets resurrected, it should be linerless again ...

Absolutely! Linerless would be my preference, saving weight . The biggest issue would be if a lanyard hole would work with the dual blade design . A stronger PE blade design would also have to come into play . MG2

Disappointed , this will lower amount of purchases of new models and will be very selective. I do have a passion for older models which I will increase buying in the future. MG2
