Re: MAP policy change? 35%

So you reground a paramilitary, used an ancient Spyderco, and reground a police for some cardboard tests. It looks ancient because it's been my work knife for a decade :p That's what knives look like when they're used ;) I do similar mundane things like cutting food, opening beer bottles, cutting m...

Re: “Cuck” is a concept borne out of insecurity

Spoken like someone who doesn't run a small business. They should just stay small and broke and never improve or make better products and keep selling you the same old Delica over and over for the same price? I work in a CPA firm, and am actually educated, trust me, I know more about "business...

Re: Another round of CPMD2 sprints?

I like it myself but if given a choice I typically buy "newer" steels. One of my favorite folding knives is D2. My more recent Spyderco purchases have been S90V, S110V, M4 for instance. Seriously, have you ever been in a situation where D2 just would not cut it, and you have to switch ove...

A forum needs a set of rules whether explicit or not and some of those rules concern polite discourse.
"Polite discourse" typically translates into Safe Space. Sorry I wrecked your Safe Space.

Re: MAP policy change? 35%

All you have to do is look at my Military review thread to see some of us do use them. My Spydercos have gone up numerous mountains, in various seas, to the desert, and have accompanied me on cross country bicycling trips. They've prepped dinner for dates, started countless fires with ferro rods, c...

Re: MAP policy change? 35%

It's really depressing that a thread like this can go 20 pages. I wish the community came together when the topic was constructive. You guys are making fools of yourselves. Suck it up and live with it or buy another brand. Life goes on. I agree. The only thing that leaves a little bit of a bad tast...

Well ******.... You enjoy taking it ******. That’s classy. You seem like someone that everyone would want to hang out with. Nice comments about a little pricing change on knives you won’t even be buying. *****. As I stated before, I was once a major fan. Learn how to read? I can read just fine, but...

Re: MAP policy change? 35%

No, I don't care about the dealers because they add 0 value to the product. They are nothing more than conniving merchants. Not sure why you're threatening China when you have a massive plant there already, one in Taiwan, and another in Japan that is seemingly incapable of getting it's QC under con...

Re: MAP policy change? 35%

Interesting thread. I get the impression that many of you would be happier if we made all of our knives in China (cheap) and only sold to Walmart & Amazon (cheap) so YOU can get what YOU want as cheaply as possible? Or maybe we could get our crew, dealers, advertisers, shippers, suppliers, etc....

Well ******, let me spell it out for you; I was a Spyderco enthusiast, but like Cliff Stamp, became disillusioned with this company when it went full pocket jewelry once this forum became populated with mindless, overpaid shills like you, so I switched companies. Glad to see I've been proven correc...

Re: MAP policy change? 35%

Those last comments by that guy ticked me off. But he showed himself for who he was. The overpaid shills comment really rubbed me the wrong way. As someone who does hard labor outside, the kind of work no one wants to do. I worked shoveling and plowing snow for 10 hours Xmas eve. Trust me I’m not o...
