Re: Knife Purchase Ethics Question

When it comes to buying things from individuals, I have a simple philosophy. Never cheat a woman by giving her less than what I honestly feel something is worth, and never insult a man by telling him he doesn't know the value of something he's selling.

Pairing Steel with Blade

Wasn't certain how to ask the question in the search query, so if this has been discussed before, please point me in the right direction. Is there a calculus in determining which steel to use in a knife on the basis of blade geometry/thickness/grind/length, etc. I understand steel choice on the ...

Re: Anti-gun nonsense

Thank you for your reply. I understand a little more as this thread continues but am puzzled that I don't see reports of proposals from anywhere that would both hinder the criminal or deranged in obtaining guns and/or ammunition, whilst protecting the rights of law abiding enthusiasts?

We have ...

Re: Another Side of the Counterfeit Problem

There are enough folks online who would gladly buy a Spydie for the right price, but its true - my own personal encounter with a fake Military has made me cautious, and I pretty much prefer to do all my trading with individuals when I can. Hope you didn't pass on the handgun as a result!

Short thumbs

My wife picked up my new Manix 2 LW, and while I think she likes the color, weight, etc. the reach for her thumb was uncomfortable, and she had to use both hands to open it. Its perfectly great for me, but there's a big difference between our hand sizes, and hers are pretty petite. Are there models ...
