Re: Sprint Runs and the Abysmal Aftermarket.
Gotta say, I don’t understand sprint marketing. I kind of get the limited quantities if it’s exclusive to one dealer, however why make such a limited number if it’s a general run for all dealers. If you can make 500, you can make 1000. There was a time that I stopped following Spyderco and walked aw...

Re: Civilian. Why..
OK Gut hook. Interesting. It can inflict horrific cuts but not reach vital organs.

When did it all begin?
When did fakes really become a common problem? I'm sure they've always been around, but when did they become a real threat?

Re: What are the most commonly faked Spydies?
Easy to repeat how we should buy from reputable dealers but that doesn't help if you're looking for discontinued models.

Re: What are the most commonly faked Spydies?
What about fakes with different steel. I can see endura or PM fakes but what if they're listed with different steels like HAP40 or s110 etc?

Another mule suggestion
I give you .......... The mystery mule! Choose an old school "super steel", make a mule, mark it "mystery" and see what reactions you get to the steel and see if people can guess it.

Re: Spyderedge kitchen knife sharpening
Thanks for the help, I guess it makes sense because, for the most part, the part of the tooth that cuts is the part that would contact the stone. Most of the serrations would seldom actually cut something. The exception would be cutting softer things like meat. Then the Sharpmaker may not reach the ...

Re: Sprint steel to production steel
Thanks for all the response!! The higher end knife market is really interesting. You'd think anyone willing to pay over $100 for a pocket knife would understand the steels. Anyway, no one offers the opportunities to try steel like spyderco!! Thanks!

Sprint steel to production steel
What causes the jump. If hap40 or Super blue or etc is so good, will they be used in production knives? If not, why.
