Re: H-1 is subpar???

You might just be right Bloke because he sure hasn't responded to any of our posts as of yet >> and that seems strange for as desperate as his inquiry for information seemed to sound at the time. It wouldn't be the first time a troll has descended upon us :( New member. Has to have post approved be...

Re: Sal and Co. DIY edgeless blanks?

I don't know about blanks, but I wouldn't be adverse to buying knives without any edge at all. Wonky edges don't cause me to loose any sleep but it annoys me when I do come to reprofile and sections of the blade are over ground and won't clean up. At very least if I stuff up an edge I can give mysel...

Re: Favorite movie fight scenes

Wow!! does this bring back some funny memories. There was an old episode of the Beverly Hillbillies where Ellie Mae brings home a Kangaroo and it got in a fight with Granny. Then it got in a fight with Jethro. Ah, hahaha! I vaguely remember the episode, Joe. :) Something else that's peculiar with R...

Well, that was a letdown, Alex. I was looking for all sorts of hilarious animated GIFs, and all I got were great pics of cute foxes. Nice article... Ah, hahaha, ah, hahaha, ah, hahaha, ah, hahaha! :) Thanks Marc! It’s good fun and beloved wife even came along once and I was fortunate enough to whis...

Re: City Animals

People’s pet dogs are far far more dangerous than wild dogs as they have no fear of Man. No do they need the food. They kill for the fun of it. People let their dogs out to relieve themselves, or just let them run loose, and they get into packs with their buddies and that’s when the trouble starts....

Re: Are you done with 2019, Spydie wise? What do you wish for in 2020?

Near done with knives altogether and seriously wondering how many knives are enough? If I lived for half a dozen lifetimes, used the ones I have, I reckon I'd still have knives left over. You know, this rings awfully close to my thinking. If I stayed off this forum, I would probably neve...

Yes, done with all knives this year.

Re: What number of Spydercos are in your active rotation?

I don’t rotate knives for the sake of rotation, variety or fidget factor. My tendency is to favour a knife, carry, use it and forget about others. Every now and then I rediscover a knife I’ve had for sometimes years and forgotten about so I’ll carry that for a while and the cycle just goes no like t...

Re: Tell us about your Spyderco Knife of the Year 2019

My knife of the year hands down is the Province and 4V has been the steel of the year. I didn’t need the knife or any other knives at all for that matter but the knife appealed to me and I’m glad I bought it. There’s nothing I don’t like about the knife and nothing I’d change. The thing that has imp...

Hey bloke... very cool Spyderco pendant in your picture.
Where did you get it?
Hi BLUE, Spyderco had them custom made for us a couple of years ago now. From memory they were made as ID pendants for one of the Blade Shows that year. :)

Ah, hahaha! Yes, that actually made the six o’clock news a couple of years ago now. :)

Big buck Roos (Boomers) are best left alone, Jim. They’re not scared of too much and as you can see they stand their ground. If chased by dogs, they’ll lead them to water and drown them if they can.

Bloke I am truly appreciative of your contributions here. I have had many truly excellent laughs thanks to things you have posted (such as the above). And as you said, there is no truly "best" of anything. I always want to kick myself when I ask something like "what is the best thing that happened ...
