Re: To Those of You That Just Got a Positron ...

Pulled the trigger on the orange one. Can't wait til it shows up and I get to play with it...although the mixed reviews do have me a little nervous. This will be my first flipper.

Re: Anyone carry a PM2 that wears a suit?

My chaparral gets the nod when dressed up. It is perfect in this role. Looks classy...smooth cf scales...very thin...wire clip...light weight. It is my newest Spydie but having owned it a few months now, It is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

Just ordered the Manix 2 lightweight...love that translucent blue! And for under $70 I didn't think I could pass it up. Now for the waiting game... My son has one and it was that knife that got me started buying Spyderco knives. It came in the mail today.Very impressed with it right out of the box....

Byrd Hawkbill

Just taking a moment to talk about the Hawkbill. It is one of my two byrds (the other a ss robin)...and I can't believe the amount of knife you get for the money (right at $20) in the Hawkbill. While I like the robin...because it is the ss version (while it is well built) it is very stiff and not as...

Re: Centofante 3

Yeah...I've tried a little lube with little effect. I guess I was just wondering if anyone has used a Centofante 3 enough to make it a smooth flicker?

Centofante 3

Quick question for you. I love my Centofante 3, which I've had for a year or so now but it is still really stiff in opening. Obviously it's pin construction means no loosening up the pivot...any other suggestions on best way to loosen the action? I'd like to be able to flick it open but it is a ways...

Re: Talk me into a Yojimbo

The Yo2 is my absolute favorite pocket knife. Surprisingly very practical as an EDC. I love the looks and feel of it too...such a nice feeling knife with the heft of the blade it flicks out like no other.

For my money...the Yojimbo 2 is really hard to beat. Such a great knife. Definitely my favorite. I also agree that the Centofante 3 is a great value...it's another gem!

Re: Who designed the Chicago and Cat? The Civilian? The Police?

I don't know why the Chicago doesn't get more love than it does. I have the current BD1 version with G10 and love it! The build is outstanding...it is so smooth...and the size is ideal for the days where you want a smaller (but still very capable) blade. Sure. It would be nice to have jimping...but ...

Re: Coarse texture G10 Paramilitary 2 and Yojimbo 2?

I just got the Yojimbo 2 in today (ordered through Amazon...not third party)...and it has got to be the coarse version. It is way more coarse than my Chicago or Tenacious. It feels great...although it does 'stick' to your pocket when trying to put it in and get it out.
