I understand what your saying.
So depth of penetration at accumulated force somehow equates to the hrc number.
Anybody know what the formula is in order to get the hrc number?

I was also hoping for it to have more of a drop point blade. As well as a different colour than the classic salt yellow.
It's still a nice knife given its features.

I surgically removed two soft corns on my toe's using the salt ladybug. Second time i'v done this but the first time i'v used a Spyderco to do it.

Just got this LYLP3 Salt Ladybug in the mail today. I noticed this plain edge model isn't listed anywhere on spyderco's website. Nice little knife.

Hi Cliff, Welcome to our forum.On the factory sharpening of ZDP. Sorry "Top secret". sal Thanks Sal :) ejames13 I did strop my zdp manbug more than a few times with some Stropman black and white and it didn't seem to polish the edge anymore than it already is. This zdp manbug is sharp!

A Salt H1 Manbug with a plain edge would be on my to buy list for sure. Especially in a color other than yellow, orange and black.
