I had experienced some problems too, but all has been resolved to my satisfaction. The true quality of a company, much like a person, is shown in the difficult times, and I believe Spyderco showed great quality, in keeping us informed, and resolving the problem as quickly as possible. Keep up the go...

My Meerkat has a very slight gap on the left (looking down) but it has not affected performance and it is solid. It is my favorite EDC right now.

I have the Chive and Blackout. I enjoy them both. They are well made and fun to open. They, along with a SE Rev.S Meerkat are my EDCs. Also, Son #1 has a Blackout and Son #2 has a Vapor.

I recently purchased a Meerkat (SE Rev S) and I love it. It is definitely one of my EDCs. The Rev. S shape is very useful and the SE edge is great. It is a good balance to my PE EDCs. Right now I'm reaching for it more than my other knives.

Meerkat Reverse S Blade

Hi, I am planning on buying a Meerkat with a serrated blade but I am wondering about the pros and cons of the Reverse S vs the standard blade.

Thanks.

I have both a Chive and a Blackout. I've carried both for about a year and a half and have never had them open (both are speedsafe knifes). I like them both.

My oldest son also carries a Blackout and my #2 son carries a Vapor. They both love them.

Sharpmaker stones

Hi,

I just purchased the Sharpmaker Saturday and I am enjoying it. However I noticed that the fine stones are not straight but have a slight curve. Will this affect the performance of the product?

Thanks,

Bill
