Re: Enuff Drop Point/Leaf in LC200N PE

I was checking one of Larrin’s articles where he compares like 40 steels and it seems to me that LC200N is the perfect hiking/camping/survival steel. A lot of the survival/outdoors knives are made with 1095 steel. I don’t have any experience with 1095, but I do with LC200N (got the Native Salt) and...

Re: Lc200n Dragonfly 2

You have to know this is coming. I recently watched a Youtube video of Eric Glesser discussing the Reveal 6 with Knife Center and he states that the LC200N bright green FRN treatment is going to be used in the entire lightweight FRN family of Seki knives. So I guess it is somewhat confirmed that a ...

Hi Ejcr,

I'll look into it. Might have a green handle?

sal
Green handle is fine by me. I like a lot the new green of the Pac Salt 2. I am just glad and thankful that you are willing to consider my request. So thank you.

Re: Enuff Drop Point/Leaf in LC200N PE

If you were looking at the Izula, check out the Esee Xancudo fixed blade or the similarly sized White River Knives Backpacker Pro, both in S35VN. Thanks for the suggestion. I checked the Xancudo but it’s thinner and has a less wide blade profile, so I think it’s less robust than what I had in mind....

Re: Enuff Drop Point/Leaf in LC200N PE

Hi Ejcr, So if I'm reading you correctly, you want a LC "leaf" Enuff with the same 2.5" blade with the thicker blade stock? The Enuff 2 is 4.0" blade with thinner stock. sal Sal, hi. Yes, you are reading me right. I want the current Enuff in leaf or drop point but in LC200N PE. To me, what I unders...

Re: Enuff Drop Point/Leaf in LC200N PE

I am guessing there is a fair enough market. The Esee Izulas are great sellers and they coat them to avoid corrosion everywhere except the edge. I think the Enuff compete directly with the Izulas. I am guessing they are made in VG-10 because when they were introduced to market LC200N was not used or...

Re: Enuff Drop Point/Leaf in LC200N PE

I read something about the new Enuffs. I think they are going to make the blades longer and thinner. For me, that defeats the purpose of the Enuff’s original concept, which is to have a blade just long enough and robust enough to handle most survival/camping tasks. Sort of like an Esee Izula 2, whic...

Re: Enuff Drop Point/Leaf in LC200N PE

I did look at the Waterway but it’s longer than what I am looking for. It’s also a thinner blade and I wanted something a bit more robust. Originally I looked at the Esee Candiru and Izula bit they are in 1095, which is not really rust resistant. I have some knives in VG-10 and they are fine for whe...

Enuff Drop Point/Leaf in LC200N PE

Lately I have been getting more into day hiking. I live in an island in the Caribbean and my hikes are mainly to humid or wet forest areas with a lot of streams, small ponds and rivers. Thus corrosion resistance is fairly important to me. I am looking into getting a small fixed blade for my hikes. I...

Re: What do you want in a new Salt knife?

Would love:

A regular Little Native Comp Lock but with LC200N blade and liners, like the Caribbean, and jimping in the choil and spine.

An LC200N fixed blade about the size of the Esee Candiru, but would settle for an Enuff in plain edge LC200N.

Re: Dragonfly vs Lil' Native

I have both, the Dfly and the LNCL. I prefer the Lil’ Native. It feels sturdier, like a little tank of a knife. And while its comp lock can be improved so that the ricasso does not hit your finger when closing the blade, it is still very fidgety and fast.

Re: heavyweight salts?

I am in. I would love to see the Para 3, Little Native Comp Lock and the Delica in LC200N with LC200N liners and rust proof hardware like the Caribbean. The first two in G10 and the Delica in FRN. Essentially LC200N versions of the existing knives but with rust proof liners and hardware. I think the...

Re: Lil Native Salt SE

Considering the blade that's in the rocks glass in the last reveal, I think a Lil' Native Salt back lock has to be coming soon. my hope is that spyderco will make a lil native salt in it's current configuration with liners, g10, and a comp lock. that would be a special little knife that isn't alrea...

Which are the third one on the first column and the red one on the last column?

Third one down on the left is the V-Toku2 sprint, the red one is a KnivesPlus "red dragon" which is a standard VG-10 that's been rit-dyed, acid washed, and given a wacky sharp edge.
Thanks. Nice collection.

Mine definitely had the rabbit gene, started with the G-10 and ZDP and they quickly formed a family
