Salt UKPK is fantastic, Serrated k390 is excellent as well, also super happy about the k390 stretch!

It’s a nice knife for sure, but I’d love to see a CQI version with a compression lock ;) I ended up selling mine before the bubble got insane, but no regrets.

Re: Slow on the Draw

for me, all my knives are tip-up, and i use the end of the clip to draw - I hook my middle finger against the end of the clip and pull it out. once it's out, my thumb already rests close to the hole.

Re: How Do Your Factory Seconds Look?

Good to see more information about the parata hitting the standoff when closed hard. Mine has the same issue.

However, the design is quite fun, and I would love to see an XL version with beefed up lock components (or a comp lock) in a tool steel as a “light folding axe”. The design has that swing!

Re: Techno CTS-XHP stone washed blade

That's the factory finish on most Slysz models, seen on the Techno series as well as the discontinued Bowie, and most recently on the Swayback.

A similar finish is applied on Spyderco's Maxamet models manufactured in Golden.

I would agree, Larrin. The sheer variety of models and steels makes Spyderco stand out quite a bit.

Re: Seconds & used sale - a perspective

The Spyderco Crew handled this far better than anyone could have reasonably expected, given the volume and interest and short time period. Definitely a very heavy lift! This was the first seconds sale I was able to participate in, thanks to it being online. I'd love the chance to participate again, ...

Re: The negative blade angle wharncliffe that I wish existed

Many times I've thought that a dual-locking position folder would add some flexibility in tasking. The need for a secondary stop pin in most designs is interesting - certainly a backlock would be the easiest initial implementation.
