Re: RESCUKPK: UKPK salt

I think there was a rescue version of the UKPK, but it would definitely be nice to bring back as an extra useful/friendly blade for restrictive jurisdictions.

Re: Power Lock

I'd be curious to see this on some of the more defense-oriented knives. I know many of them already have the sturdy compression lock, but stuff like the civilian/matriarch line still relies on a conventional lockback. I could see the added strength of the power lock doing a lot to assure peace of mi...

Re: Cruwear micarta Bushcraft/Proficient

I've handled Lionsteel's fixed blade offerings and they are definitely appealing. Their HRC results have given me reason to be cautious, however.

Re: Cruwear micarta Bushcraft/Proficient

Sal, I know the PD#1 mule has been sporadically in stock - are there plans to keep that on deck for those interested in a Cruwear-adjacent fixed blade?

Re: I should uh, probably get a Chaparral. Right?

The watu might be a tiny bit more slicey, but the Chap LW (FRN) is probably one of the nicer lockbacks you'll ever use. It's a supremely good value for the money.

I wouldn't be opposed to a SE yo2, but possibly with the less snag-prone serrations as popularized in several other threads here.

Re: Wharncliffe's

color me intrigued - the wharnie grind knives i've owned (yojimbo, rock jumper, swayback) have consistently great performance.

The asymmetrical grind sounds interesting. almost like a chef's knife with a concave on one side to help food release.

I recently purchased a blacked out yojimbo 2 on the secondary market that came like this.

Has anyone had any success with polishing something like this away?
i've seen this before on my DLC coated blades, in both s30v and 4v. It does come off with liquid Barkeeper's Friend cleaner.

The JM2 looks like a perfect truck knife. One of these days I'm going to break down and get one.

What I REALLY want to see is a Rock Salt 2 in LC200N. Make it heavier at the tip and maybe a bit bigger. The ultimate mini machete.

That would be SWEEET! :D
Been hoping for this as well...
