Or wait for the cruwear sprint, that'll be a real workhorse!
Knowing my patience theres a very high probability I'll end up with both lol!
Yeah, I'm busy trying to line up custom scales in several different micarta 'flavors' just for the cruwear sprints. I need my OD green canvas!

Re: Shaman Questions

https://i.imgur.com/b6pQHmu.jpg Got the Shaman a few days ago and have been giving it some use since to get a feel... and I can say its definitely a badass tool first and foremost. I always found the Native to be a little tank of a knife because it's fairly indestructible for what it is but the Sha...

Re: Spyderco Sticker Woes

Spyderco has stickers? I've never received one packed with a knife. Stickers are cool, sometimes I'll put them on water bottles, tool boxes, or on equipment where someone will see it in the distant future, and scratch his head wondering who put it there. As far as swag goes, I'm a bigger fan of t-s...

Re: Is weak detente a warranty issue?

I have a Sliverax and love it with one exception: the detente is so weak and I can easily open the knife with just a little bump, and with an actual pop of the wrist, I can fully deploy it. I wasn't sure this would bother me, but now I'm wondering if it's even safe to carry this weak. Is this somet...

Re: Need LC200N Backlock Plane Edge Salts in FRN! (please)

The title says it all...Sal, any time frame as to when we might see some of this variety of knife hit the market? Any and all varieties would be appreciated...and I think they all would sell! Currently the native salt is what you're looking for, but I'm sure more are coming! Yeah, I had one and gav...

Re: s90v SHAMAN IS OUT

I'd say it would keep the character of the Shaman if it was fully contoured FRN of the new, stiffer blend seen in the para 3 LW. I preface this by saying I own 2 DF2s, a Chap LW and plan on buying the Sage 5 LW, have to say a Shaman with big fat plastic scales will feel cheap. Ever handle a BM Grip...

Re: POLL: Who´d like to see a knife along the lines of the Caribbean, but with a BACKLOCK?

The caribbean's use case seems to leverage the flow-thru abilities of the compression lock. Plenty of salt models have had a chance to leverage the backlock without issues, but the caribbean might be a different approach for a reason. Still, something like a native chief salt might be what you're lo...

Re: Kapara at the Sydney Knife Show

Congrats on the win!!

Also, the custom version looks really good! I would definitely be interested in a production damasteel sprint... ;)

It's a lovely knife, I need to add one to my collection one day.

Re: Upcoming Shaman Exclusives??

Yep they've hinted at it a few times recently. The hard use oriented design of the Shaman is just begging for the 4V treatment. Agreed. This and the Micarta Cruwear Shaman will be legendary hard use Spydies. Now we just need some dealer to do a DLC CPM-3V Shaman with OD Green Matte Canvas Micarta f...

Re: The backup that helps you sleep at night... ;)

I've only had backups of the Southard when they discontinued it, but since my tastes have changed away from titanium framelock flippers, I sold the backups and kept only the original. I do plan on buying two of the cruwear micarta Shamans, however. That knife is going to get a bunch of hard use and ...
