Re: A RESCUE Type HAWKBILL> A Hawkbill With Safety Features?

I would 100% love to have a blunted serrated hawkbill. It would be especially useful around inflatables while still maintaining aggressive fibrous cutting. the combination of safety and cutting performance is seen already in the whale rescue blade. Furthermore I'd love to see this theoretical safety...

Re: Native 5 pricey

For some, the question is instead - why do you think the PM2 is 'more knife' than the native 5?

Think of it this way - now you don't have to worry about keeping your new knife pristine. Go ahead and use it as it should be used!

Re: Lil Native what shall be the 1st Sprint?

I think I'd prefer a comp lock FRN Lil native to a back lock FRN version, but if anything I'm definitely down for a LC200n version.

Re: Rising Ocean Levels?

To my understanding, the big issue with carbon is less that it's there in our atmosphere - there's a carbon cycle that plants and animals participate in to mutual benefit. Trees capture carbon to grow, then decompose or are burned to release it. It's a closed loop. However, a lot of the problems eme...

Re: Native Chief - Can we get a heartbeat?

I think I'm gonna need to pick up one of these. It calls to me. You are not alone... ;) next purchase is probably gonna be the cf shaman though. Not for me... ;) I like the Shaman, but the "basic" G10 fits my likings even better than the CF sprint (Micarta would be a different story... )...

Re: Non-Bumblebee Caribbean?

I'm not sure how well the current iteration of the Caribbean is selling, but the comp lock/lc200n liner version has a ton of engineering in it. You might want to consider aftermarket scales?

Re: A Spyderco OTF?

OTF packaging seems like a difficult thing to balance with ergonomics. With conventional folding knives, the assumption is you design the handle for gripping mostly when the blade is deployed and 'out of the way' so to speak.

Re: Lc200n Manix 2 LW Interest Poll

I'm down if it can be made:

1) sufficiently rustproof (rest of the handle hardware)
2) with screw construction, though i could be sold on pins if they're more rustproof than screws.
3) with an available sheepsfoot blade profile

Re: Sage 5 click

Often on knives that operate with locks that ride on detent bearings, there are periods during the blade's opening path where the bearing drops off and the lock rides directly on the tang. It's possible that you're hearing and experiencing this.
