Every folder is illegal in NYC as gravity knife. We can consider that Waved folders are illegal in NYC. Wave or no Wave or thumb stud or hole in the blade is illegal so far. I saw many spyderco and other high end folders in video made by DA's office as gravity knife. Knife right is fighting for it ...

Many people said that FRN is very strong and I am sure they are right. However, I don't trust FRN unless it has steel lining (4th generation endura & delica). FRN is more flexable than G-10 or CF. May be that flexability I don't trust in knives.

Endura backspacer

Hi,
I have many spyderco folder (a little more than 10) and love it . Most of them with g-10 handle and metal backspacer. My question is FRN backspacer which hold spring are strong enough? Do they stretch or move in over time which might go against spring placement and tension?

Thank you

It is very hard to tightened the pivot of my Yo. I have blue Yo and make it really tight but I still can flick open. Your Yo might be different. However, my customized Pacific salt (by master of FFG Tom Krein) and Salt 2 can be really tightend. I use hammer to tap the FRN non screw spyderco for ...

SeanH,
Thank you for your info. Look like I have to activate my Kydex press and .06" kydex. :D I am definately going to get one. IMO I think it is quite expensive for fixed blade especially for general public. It is just IMO.
