Re: Off centered edge fix
When I receive pieces like that I take it to my Edge pro and re-profile the blade until things are evened up. You could also just work that shorter side more each time you sharpen until they are even. Do you have the diamond rods? By working that short side to 20 wouldn't I be wasting a lot of stee...

Off centered edge fix
Hey guys. So I ordered anot her gb2 for a user and this one has got a horribly off centered edge. To put it into perspective I have put my sharp maker up to it and the 20 degree setting actually removes all sharpie from the right side in one swipe. The left side of the blade is hitting the edge and ...

Re: First spyderco, kinda disappointed
You don't have any issues with wd40 and your gun? I had a major pitting on an old side by side 410 and the gun smith told me about wd40 doing what it does. I assume there is gives and takes with every product out there. **** maybe I was doing something wrong haha. But anyways I hope spyderco resolve...

Re: Electric Sharpening for Knives?
The Ken onion work sharp is what I would I recommend. Especially with the bga. When someone says here sharpen these and hands me some fabreware knife block they get the ko treatment and everyone loves it. Cheap knifes aren't worth anyone's time to sharpen free hand in my opinon. I moved the pulleys ...

Re: First spyderco, kinda disappointed
If I'm not mistaken wd40 is water disperser. This can actually lead to rust is some cases because it pushes the water into the tiny low spots and then sits over the top it and traps any moisture leaving you you pin spots. I use tuf glide or rem oil. Rem oil is used to keep your 2000+ dollar guns saf...

Re: carving hairs - how you do it?
Do you mean whittle hairs or cut hairs while still in tact with your arm? Whittle and popping free hanging hair are 2 different levels of sharpness to me. I usually stop after I get my edge to grab hairs on my arm and pop them or start breaking/curling/whittling about 1/4 inch above skin. It's very ...

Possible techno knock off?
Hey guys sorry I don't have a picture of this knife but I was strolling through pawn shops at a town near me looking for any spydercos and the guy had 2 listed at 100 bucks but said he would sell them both for 40. Anyways the one is a slip it that resembles a caly. It had sals sign on one side and a...

Re: Spyderco Bradley folder 2
Thank you. I think what I like the most is fact that the scales don't flush up with the liners. It really makes it pop. Everything about this knife is sexy though. It's my first over 100 buck spyderco. I unfortunately went other routes in the past and now I'm kicking myself in the butt for it

Most spydercos I have bought have all had some sort of an asymmetrical edge bit this one is so close to perfect I will just r...

Endura 4 tip shsrpness
Hello. New to the forum. I'm having a hard time getting the endura sabre grind to get sharp at the tip section. The entire blade is sharp after a reprofile to 30 except the tip. Is it still obtuse? I remove all sharpie and run it over the SM and it gets hair popping sharp except for the tip. It just...

I love the 204. If this new system compliments it and isn't ment to replace the 204 I will be one happy man
