[quote="The Deacon"]Very nice! I particularly like that they did both sides. Just have a couple questions. How's the weight compared with a regular Yo? That's always my concern with stone on larger knives. Are the black bands Jet?[/QUOTE

It does add some weight, but being a big guy the stone makes ...

Customized Ayoob

Found this one on ebay, never seen one pimped so I thought I'd take a chance. Don't have it yet, so I thought I would get a few pre-arrival thoughts! This one really got me excited, I always liked my Ayoob, but it always felt a little thin in my large hand, and a little to slick. Hope this one fills ...

An Ayoob plain edge, mint, went for $272 & some change. I just payed $299.95 for the Yojimbo I just posted here. I noticed the knife was being sold new by Santa Fe, that assured me it was mint. Since I've never have gotten price quotes from Santa Fe to have work done, I didn't have any idea of an ...

Nice!

Funny, I am sure we were bidding against each other in that auction. I had my snipe set at $224. Any higher than that is too rich for my blood. And as we know, the ending bid was a lot higher than $224!

Have fun with your new toy.

Sorry bout that, guess we have the same taste in ...
