I like it better than the original, but then I tend to like my knives really pointy.

Re: Nirvana has dropped!
Another question. How on earth do take this apart to clean if you get grit or dirt in the pivot? Since made of one piece and not two halves, I was just wondering.

Re: Nirvana has dropped!
This is all good feedback. Thanks. I know I would probably feel guilty buying it so I won't, but doesn't stop me from wishing I could. Have never had a super nice knife like this, but if you can't enjoy it because of the expense, what's the point? I tried telling myself that I will just skip my next...

Re: Nirvana has dropped!
In all honesty, will anyone actually carry and use this knife? I would be so afraid of getting even the smallest scuff or scratch on it that I would keep it in the safe and only touch occasionally to fondle and admire. That's the struggle I have; buying something so expensive and it serve no other p...

Re: 52100 Military, what are your plans?
I think if someone gets more in at a decent price I might buy me another so I can use one. Started to buy one at SSK but since I live in the same state as them the tax killed it.

Re: Have you ever returned a knife for bad grind lines?
The lock stick was just the beginning of the problems with that one. On about my 30th flick to open it the detention ball just fell out. Returned both. If I can actually see one in store and inspect before I buy I might try again some day but that is unlikely since no store within 100 miles even sel...

Ok, got mine today and there is no way I would ever carry or use this thing. It is too freakin perfect to ever take a chance in degrading its utter gorgeiosity!
Seriously, nicest Spydie I own. Very happy with it.

Re: Yo2 sticky lock
This just keeps getting worse. The detent ball just fell out of the knife! Was just opening and closing trying to figure out this sticky lock when wallah, no detent ball anymore. And when I look for where it should be there is not one. Must have just popped out. Sending this POS back and while I wil...

Re: Have you ever returned a knife for bad grind lines?
You nailed it. I got a replacement in today and while the blade itself is far superior the lock stick is freakin unbearable. So, either keep the bad grind line one or bust my finger every time I open the other. Or return both and forgetaboutit. The saddest thing is I am mildly disappointed in the QC...

Re: Yo2 sticky lock
If was just a little grabby I would be okay, but it actually makes a louder click when the lock disengages than the click when it opens. I took a flashlight and got a good look at the back of the blade that contacts the liner and wow, pretty good mark, gouge, whatever you want to call it. Probably w...
