Re: Micarta Shaman 2nd Sprint Run

Ever feel like you can't come out on top no matter what you do? sal Sal, just wanted to quickly state: Though I personally most likely even won´t try and purchase one of the Micarta Shamans (but be happy when I finally get a "basic" G10/S30V one), what you and Spyderco do in planning to release thi...

Casey Lynch just announced a titanium deep carry for the Millie. Another option for those that don't like the stock clip.

Re: First of Many and What's Next?

If you're looking for a small EDC look no further than the Rust/Corrosion Proof Dragonfly Salt (I recommend the serrated edge). I have a lot of knives and that one see's more use than most of them. Hope that helps :D

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Been carrying the Ladybug Hawkbill because of new job. Even have to leave that in the car at some job sites. Hopefully I'll be able to work my way up to a lil native after a few weeks. Don't want to push my luck too soon. Got a ladybug hawkbill in the mail. I carry big blades normally but I’m excit...

Re: Opinions Wanted: Top 5 Best Spydercos

I already posted, Hawkbill Dfly, Fluted CF Native, Para3, Shaman, and Delica as my top 5, here's 5 more :D 1. G-10 Police4 K390, nothing cuts better. 2. S110V PM2, stainless cutting machine and workhorse. 3. Hawkbill Ladybug, you can't pack more usefulness into a smaller package. 4. G-10 S30V Manix,...

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???

Microtech has pulled me in with their CA Legal OTF's. I begged Spyderco to make these, but it wasn't in the cards. The last 4 knives I've bought have been Microtech's. CA UTX-70's, a black and dlc blade Single edge, and a red and dlc double edge. And 2 Exocets one standard, one a DLC blade with blac...

Re: EDC prybar

I carried a Gerber Shard for 2 years and upgraded to a Casey Lynch All Access pass. I carry a prytool to save my knife tips from all those things you really shouldn't do with a 200 dollar knife tip. The shard was great and useful, big downside was no pocket clip and it was pointy, so I got poked in ...

Re: Didn't realize how tiny it BEE

It BEE a little too small for MEE. I would like to see this same design in maybe a Chaparral sized version, exact same style overall just longer. Hear, hear! I handled this one at Blade a few years ago. It was a great little knife, but there was barely two fingers worth of grip. Let's see an XL in ...

Re: Didn't realize how tiny it BEE

It's all about the grip....

Grip the knife handle with your middle and ring finger, put your index finger on the notch on the spine of the blade, and understand how cool the McBee is :D

Re: Manbug Salt/ Ladybug Hawkbill Salt comparison

I usually go for the Hawkfly, but when I put some other knives or pocket tools in the left pocket rotation I usually toss the ladybug in my coin pocket instead. Not quite as stout as it's big brother, but plenty capable. Been carrying the ladyhawk for the last 2 days.
