Re: Hawkbill Uses: PE or SE?

I've had this conversation with you before I'm sure JD. But removing tape and zip ties from bundled wires. PE slides in a little easier. But even opening boxes and packages, PE cuts different from SE. I think in general (unless you're talking fresh sharpened/razor sharp SE) PE leaves smoother cleane...

Absolutely all good-natured kidding! And in any case, I like both the Tealquoise and the Blay colors, and I REALLY like that spyderco offers them. :p

Re: What color would you say the WaveFly is?

From the Knife Center website: "Spyderco calls this a dark gray FRN handle but the actual appearance is more of a dark blue." I've seen KC do this with other questionably-colored spydie models, too, and I very much appreciate it! :D while S110V handles do look 'midnight blue' in the right light, I ...

Re: What color would you say the WaveFly is?

So without knowing what Spyderco says the color is, what would you say the color of this FRN is? :D Just for fun, I looked at it on 3 different monitors. Dark blue on one, dark green on one, dark blueish green or greenish blue on the third. Not sure if it's still the case, but about 15 years ago I ...

Some UK establishments and events have a complete “no sharps” policy. I wouldn’t risk anything I value when visiting well known or official sites, museums etc in London, for sure.
Good to know.

He'll mostly be working on his trip. Lead Network Engineer. But I'll give him a heads up.

That would be real thin at the spine. But as long as your not using it as a pry tool you should be alright.

Re: What color would you say the WaveFly is?

Whoa, big difference from the official YT video. Definitely looks different on your screen than mine. That looks closer to the color they say it is... grey. :D Doesn't look like that to me in person. In person I'd say navy blue/green. In pictures it just looks black. Unless you get the light just r...

What color would you say the WaveFly is?

A bit of fun here, not really a serious issue. Just thought it would be a good discussion :D I was just watching a Spyderco Vid talking about the Emerson Dragonfly aka WaveFly. I won't say what they said the color of the FRN was, but I will say I disagree. So without knowing what Spyderco says the c...

My buddy likes his new Urban, he got the AEB-L sprint. Already cut himself with it opening a package. Cut through the package and nicked his finger (only a flesh wound :D ).

Shepardcc on instaG has been working on some Python Micarta scales for me. Lanyard Hole and extra clip holes deleted. His backlog is about 15 weeks though. Mine will hopefully be ready this month or next. I ordered about 15 weeks ago. Should look something like this.... https://i.ibb.co/t4dw54R/IMG-...

I've got a friend flying to Belgium and UK... Carry options?

My friend will be spending a few weeks in Belgium and the UK on business, and he would like to know what kind of knife he can carry, and how he should carry it to not run afoul of local laws.

Any suggestions?

I was thinking UKPK, Urban, or Roadie.

Re: How can we get more women interested in Spyderco knives?

Cover them in diamonds!!! CG My wife is a jeweler and that's been on her to do list for awhile now. Probably just a one off for herself and not directly on the knife but on the neck sheath for her ladybug. When/if she gets around to it, I'll post a pic. I swear I saw Bob Terzuola put a diamond or s...
