Re: How to turn a Delica into a $350+ knife.

REK clips are very nice. Smoothest in and out of pocket of any clip I've used. Great for knives that dont work as well with the deep carry clips. I have one on my 20CV Smock as well. I suspect I will pick up another at some point.

Great minds think alike :D https://i.ibb.co/rsyJ8ff/IMG-20210414-224234-224.jpg Dont know how I missed this thread. I did this one in January for my Birthday. Hap40, and Titanium. I was unable to find anodized Ti Hardware for mine though. Im impressed you were able to source that. Yours looks really...

Re: Knives that cut like the Native Chief in upcoming sprint runs?

Knife Center has a Pakka Wood Police 4 in HAP 40, which is the Japanese version of REX45. Their verison is san mai laminated and run a little softer than Golden runs their Rex45, but should be extremely similar.

Love it, but maybe a narrower blade since you are “stabbing and ripping” in a defense scenario

Re: Smaller P'kal

If I could reiterate my last post a little better, part of what makes the P'kal an effective stabbing tool in RGEI is the positive blade angle. If you hold a wharn-delica in RGEI what you get is a very negative blade angle. This causes stabs to land mostly on the tip and spine of the blade. Resultin...

Re: Smaller P'kal

You may very well be able to mod a P'kal to a lil pkal. The issue with modding other knives is 1. The handle 2. The blade shape and orientation 3. Wave 4. Lock . The P'kal can penetrate material better than just about any knife I've tried. This is from a combination of the handle, blade shape, and o...

Re: Smaller P'kal

Might work. You should sketch up what you have in mind. I’m not known for drawing skills But a scaled down baby p'kal is what I’m thinking ..... I'll think about a smaller P'Kal, or maybe ask Roque, or proto guy to cut a P'Kal down for me to play with. I don't think that taking off a half or even 3...

Re: We already have the solution. Now what we need is to find the problem

If 99% of the world doesn't need to carry a knife to get through their day...... WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS ASKING TO BORROW MY KNIFE!? :D Same goes for my pocket flashlight. My friends are like hey can I borrow your flashlight for a minute, I dropped something under this or on the floor, or I need to look...

Re: Cutleryshoppe Exclusive Native Chief, DLC CTS-XHP, Orange G10

This will be the first iteration of the Chief I dont buy. Not a fan of Orange in the slightest, but for Rex45 I was willing to buy and dye. XHP doesn't really call my name. DLC is nice. I will say this, 30 seconds in Racing Red RIT Dye-More (7parts water, 1 part dye) will have that looking like a S...

I can do almost everything with a Dragonfly. But it's so much easier with a Police4. Even just cutting cardboard.

Re: I'm having an issue with US made Spydies

I agree with you Vivi, that much threadlocker is too much. I do highly recommend the Wiha torx drivers though, havent stripped a screw since I got them. From the devils advocate position, my friends that don't do knife maintenance have both had problems losing lockbar screws and clip screws on their...

Re: Smaller P'kal

After some shivworks training with a clinch pick I really see the benefit of a very small knife in the grappling situations we were put into. Is there any possibility of a smaller version of the spyderco shivworks p'kal to be created so it is easier to deploy in these grappling situations. I alread...
