Re: Endura not easy to open
Sounds like the pivot screw is too tight or perhaps the pivot screw for the lock bar. My second Endura had the pivot screw way to tight out of the box.

Re: Advantages of VG10 over other premium steels
Something that hasn't been said is the fact Spyderco seems to have the heat treat dead on for Vg-10. There is more than one manufacturer out there that makes a decent knife using excellent steel but missed on the heat treating. Vg-10 has been around for a while, has very good attributes and Spyderco...

Re: Endura 4 tip shsrpness
Sometimes it looks like you are getting all the sharpie off but a tiny bit at the edge remains. That's why I'd suggest just working it until you create a burr. This comment rings so true! I struggled for a long time before I finally worked to set a proper bevel for the first time. It may seem all g...

My first Endura, quite possibly the single best folder I've ever had. Dare I say I like it better then the Para2!

Re: Manix2 Light Weight
I'm all for lighter weight. I am guilty of forgetting theses are cutting tools and therefore shouldn't be concerned if it isn't built like a tank. Seems the mainstream marketing is finally wearing on me. I dare say I like the manix2 better than the pm2.

Manix2 Light Weight
I really like the manix2 and have one with g10 scales.
So I can get a manix2 light weight with blue frcp scales and s110v blade. School me about the light weight, what is the difference and do they stand up as well as the g10 model. Thanks

Re: Manix2 G10 S110V
The wierd part is it's on a very reputable vendors web site and it is a full flat ground s110v blade with blue g10 scales and even has a picture. I'm in Canada but we shouldn't have a run like this before anyone else right?

Manix2 G10 S110V
I'm a huge fan of the Manix2, I found a Manix2 blue g10 with s110v blade. I can't find any info about this model, I'd like to know if this was actually made and not a fake. I can only find info on the ultalight with blue frn scales. I it was produced I'll look at aquiring one.

Re: getting manix 2 smooth
I've had my Manix2 g10 for 4 days now and it will fall freely with the lock held back. All I did was apply some super lube and use it for the last few days.

Re: getting manix 2 smooth
I just picked one up yesterday, the display model was very smooth but my new one was not. I didn't loosen the pivot, just a few drops of super lube and it is very smooth now.

Re: Knife laws in Canada
The only restrictions here are, no autos or butterfly knives. If you carry a fixed blade it must not be consealed. If the knife can be opened by gravity it is also prohibited. If you hold the lock bar on your pm2 and it flops open that is ok as you have to maniplate the lock, but if you can hold th...
