I think you are looking for a Moran FB. They are really light and should be able to go with your pack easy. For lockbacks, the Endura is great. The Goddard is a pretty tough cutter too if you can take a slightly shorter blade. Try New Graham Knives. Can't see why a Mili would be cheaper than an Endu...

Endura are great hard use all-rounders. If you want something with a straighter profile and often find yourself with the necessity to deal out full powered thrusts, a Goddard would be great.

The PE Goddard is a hard user! It shrugs off solid thrusts without even dulling the tip and my edge is still as good as the day it came out of the box. I'm getting another one or two not to collect but in case I ever lose this beater. Plus, the grey it comes in only makes it that much sweeter! It ha...

It is hardest to lose the few people who through effort, honour and integrity, help somehow to hold the world together rather than letting it all go to crap.

I am sorry for your loss Chad. He will be missed.

Extra ambi-clips. Either the Peter Herbst or the Perrin Black Blade that are both going cheap. Most definately a spare Wayne Goddard, just in case. Got one and now can't bear to lose it <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

The only thing I could find says it requires a 'a spotlessly clean and very sharp knife without any nicks'. The knife 'cuts horizontally across the throat, severing the carotid artery, the jugular vein, and the esophagus in one stroke. If there is a pause, a nick, or a puncture in the process, the a...

You like big old school drop-points? How about a 3 5/8" blade in a 8 3/4" overall package like the new grey FRN Wayne Goddard Lightweight? Get one at a decent price of under $50 and you might help a Goddard Jr. see the light of day <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=mid...

If you ask where to, or if it is at all possible to get a very specific model sometimes someone will know or will privately e-mail you.
Can't hurt to let people know you are looking <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

According to a post by Ted they retrofitted a Spyderco Santoku with MBS-26 steel for kosher butchering. Last word was they were trying CPM-440V. Try this: http://www.spyderco.com/forum/topic.asp?topic_id=11863&forum_id=7&Topic_Title=At+last+%2D+A+picture+of+K10+%2D+Kosher+butcher+kn&foru...

Jim, you and Daywalker take care K. The stuff you guys go through is hair-raising. The news media and crap TV shows never seems to show your side of the story and since most people get their sense of the world these days from watching prime time scripted TV, their sense of reality is firmly based on...

Hi Jimbo, I love hunting knives and so The Wegner is a holy grail to me as well. Having recently got a new Goddard, I also found myself wondering in my heart of hearts 'What are the chances of a grey Goddard Jr...?' Old Spyderco custom collaborations do seem to have something special about them, but...
