Wow I guess it shows that in this economy Spyderlovers are either doing better than average, or Spyderco is above and beyond all others!

As far as dealing with bad delivery drivers, it is amazing how far a couple of missing packages will go, to getting the problem corrected. Even if later the packages are "found" behind that tree, or in the garage.

One more thing the original aluminum handled version has an amazingly nice heft to it. If you were a little squeamish about blood, using the but of the handle would be devastating to bony objects.

The Civilian is a decent SD knife, but one must remember that it has limited uses...Like JD said the Matriach is a splendid example of nearly the same knife...Bare in mind that no thrusting can be done with the Civilian...
