A knife tip really shouldn't break off hitting a wood floor....

I'm just going care for my knife as I do all my others. If it develops a patina as a result of use then so be it. Marine Tuff Cloth helps keep my stuff in good shape.

Your knife isn't a badge to folks any more than owning a a communist bloc - made full auto AK47 means you are a Soviet soldier.
