Re: Nirvana 2
Nirvana 2 (or close) is out! You can see it in the shot show video here. https://youtu.be/QMGfJQl6jVc?t=18m44s Seems like Spyderco has answered our call and has given us a satin finished Rassenti integral with a lockbar insert.

Re: One spydie...just ONE.
The Shaman is coming out sometime this year and it is basically a larger Native with a compression lock for around $155. I think it looks nicer than the Native. It's on page 13 of the new catalog: http://catalog.spyderco.com/midyearproductguide/

http://imgur.com/BmgBU6D Sorry I was late with comparison pics to my mockup. I'll post nicer pics tomorrow morning also. Anyway, I compared it to the pm2, delica, mamba and positron. I'll do some in hand pictures tomorrow. Here's a nicer comparison pic: http://i.imgur.com/JS0FDHV.jpg?1 Sorry I neve...

Re: Official Sliverax Discussion Thread
I'm pretty excited about the Sliverax. I cut out the image of it in the catalog and turned that into a 3D model. Then I scaled that into the actual size of the knife according to the catalog and 3D printed it. It feels great in hand! I want it even more now. It gave me a comparison to other knives ...

Re: PM2 in S110V...It's calling my name. Should I?
I have it in s110v. It's sharper than I will ever need it to be and it seems to be holding its edge a good while. It flicks open very smoothly.

Re: Hello
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. A while back if you asked me, I would have said I didn't care for the pm2 also. Yet once I'd held it and tried it out it changed my mind. I bought one in s110v a few months ago and it's great. If you squeeze the compression lock it just drops right closed with ...

Someone fill me in, what is "the whole flipper nonsense?" Flipper or not, the knife I'm after is just pure gold and will function just fine without the flipper. ..also cue all the flipper haters. Ugh. That wasn't really helpful, I have no idea what the nonsense we're resolving is and what...

Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
I'd go with the Bradley Advocate, lc200n, all titanium hardware, and whatever pivot system they have on the pm2. My pm2 is as smooth if not smoother than my $300 Mamba on bearings.

I had to do something similar to this to an Endura when my dad broke a half inch off the tip.
BTW, that chopped cf Yojimbo is beautiful!

Re: What parts of a knife could I 3d print?
Assuming this is an extrusion type printer that can print ABS or PLA plastics it could be useful for: no parts of a real knife. Maybe you could make a little display stand or something. Or a trainer version of your favorite Spyderco. The SLA type printers crank out something different entirely. I c...

Re: What parts of a knife could I 3d print?
I don't know if this is possible with your printer or with any printer for that matter, but what about both scales and backspacer all one piece. I probably could with supports. The hard part would be fitting the liner into the printed part. If the material is stiff enough, does it need liners? The ...
