Re: BENTO M390 PM2 or S90V MILLIE?
I feel like my knives in S90V are stronger than my S110V. They certainly are harder to sharpen. M390 is a bit easier to maintain than M390....IMHO. I just put my backup NIB S110V Millie for sale....and as soon as that sells, I'll try and grab a M390 PM2. I try not to buy anything from BB because I t...

Re: BENTO M390 PM2 or S90V MILLIE?
And in my experience....S90V is much harder than S110V. Have both blurple PM2 and Millie. S90V can last forever without needing to sharpen it. Just some leather every so often keeps a hair cutting edge.....IMHO.

Re: BENTO M390 PM2 or S90V MILLIE?
KW is doing an S90V CF Millie?? This I did not know! An older S90V Millie is crazy expensive.
Since KW is doing a CF S90V, I'll go with the M390 PM2.
ETA on the KW S90V MILLIE?

Re: BENTO M390 PM2 or S90V MILLIE?
M390 and S90V are two of my favorite steels and am most familiar with them....I have some pieces in M4 as well, but find that M4 is more prone to rust. I have several PM2 and Millies......I had always carried a Millie, but over time I started carrying a PM2 more often for some reason. Now, I usually...

BENTO M390 PM2 or S90V MILLIE?
Ugh.....I don't think I can afford both so it's one or the other. I have a backup NIB S110V Millie I can sell? What to do?

Re: Slight rust on M4 spine...
Some slight rust is starting to build up on the spine of my M4 PM2. What can I use to white it off.....and what can I apply on it to protect it in the future? A thin coat of Vaseline? I usually only use stainless blades and never had this problem before. If it gets bad, going to switch out the blad...

Re: Slight rust on M4 spine...
It's not bad at all....barely noticeable. It's not even rust in color, it's light black but you can feel it. I was hoping I could just use some kind of compound to whipe it off. It's very minimal, but want to address it before it progresses...

Titanium aftermarket scales for the Millie?
Well...I was going to get a Ti Millie and swap the blade out with a S110V. However, I was told I cant do that. So...I want to find some aftermarket titanium scales. I put a set of Flytanium scales on my PM2 with an M4 blade and I have a new found love for the PM2 now. The added weight makes it feel ...

FLYTANIUM scales for PM2
So I ordered a set of textured Flytanium scales for a PM2. I was going to use a regular black S30V blade.....but than decided to put them on my S110V. However, I ended up using my jade M4 instead since I just got it back from Spyderco and it was perfectly tuned and sharpened. Scales fit like a glove...

Re: DESTROY my knife?
I'm going to keep it. The Spydero store is STUPID expensive. I mean....wow....no way. I'll just keep it and put it on display. The old school black Millies that say "Military" on them are not so popular. I'm going to call them and find out what the problem is. I have another old school Mil...
