Re: Orange October!

I have several to choose from so it could take me awhile. I think is should touch up the edge on Manix 2 s90v and use that one.

Re: The price of knives

I’m not going to go too deep here for a list of reasons, many of which you can guess. I will say that I have a few short years where I can continue this hobby, at least in the acquiring phase. But at the rate prices are increasing, that few years will likely turn to months. At the end of the day, a ...

Re: Sal, the most iconic Spyderco folder deserves a sprint !

My only old school Police is a used uncoated aluminum model. It is very light and scratches like nothing else. There would be soooo many complaints these days if one of these came with the tiniest scratch from the factory. Yab is correct, the tufram model is the best compromise between aluminum and ...

Re: CPM 15v Manix 2

As Dirty Harry once said, a man’s has to know his limitations. I pretty well understand mine by now and I can say that this knife is well beyond my needs, real or imagined. The same with any of the really good culinary knives. However, I can also say that this is exactly the kind of knife Sal create...

I guess I’m in the minority who thought the length was fine, but it was the blade stock was too thick. As it is, it feels a bit prybar-ish to me.

I have more Salts then I actually need, but I'd buy a few more if there some additional models in G10 or Titanium.

Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!

Normally I'd jump at one of these, but modern pricing is giving me pause. It should be around long enough for those of us on the fence to think it about instead of panic buying due to some limitation on numbers produced.

I was all in on this one, but having thought about it for awhile, I'm good with staying with what I have now in S90V, S110V, Cruwear, and Rex45. I will watch these threads to see how BBB's heat treat plays out in a larger audience. Hopefully some owners will use them and not safe queen them.

IAN: Stay safe my fellow Floridians

We are further inland, but on the eastern side of the storm, so tornadoes will be our biggest threat.
