I still say this is the combo edge we all need, whether you realize it or not :winking-tongue https://live.staticflickr.com/887/39359510240_13bc74c3cb_z.jpg PE at the heel where hard carving cuts happen, SE in the middle where material would normally slip off the blade, and a bit of PE at the tip f...
I am so boring. For weeks it has been a Rex45 Manix 2 with Rockscale Ti scales. So great that I might have to move everything else along. Scary thought... Don't know what's wrong with me, but I'd actually love to see a pic of that extremely boring knife... :smirk Screen Shot 2023-01-26 at 9.48.00 A...
It just did not sell well enough fro Spyderco to keep it in the line up. I'm not sure why, maybe due it being originally released when the market was looking for massively overbuilt folders? With the resurgence of smaller blades these days maybe we will see a re-release. Hi Jim, The Kopa model sold...
Is it normal to see the HRC lower at the top and lower edge of the blade vs the middle? Or am I reading your list incorrectly? No it's not normal, and yes you are reading that correctly. Like I said, it was a reject. I am thinking that the steel was positioned impropperly when the blank was cut out...

It would depend on how long the tang is as to whether or not it would be practical to put another handle material on the model. Hidden tang knives have been a thing for a long time. Someone will need to sacrifice theirs for science and stuff and cut the molded handle off! :grin-smiling-eyes Yeah, I ...

I would have names this knife MTE AKA “More Than Enough”
I did way back when it was first mentioned by Sal. He thought the name was too long! We can only try, right? Maybe a Forum version with More Than Enuff on the blade for those of us with the same thought?
