Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Oldie but goodie - BM Mel Pardue. Haven’t carried in years. I don’t even remember model number. But the bolsters are some of the prettiest ever. IMG_2195.jpegIMG_2194.jpeg That's a great knife. Reminds me of my Benchmade 330, which was the only knife I carried for almost 20 years... Then I joined t...

Re: Solar Eclipse!
I really thought all the hoopla was a bit overblown leading up to the day. It is really hard to put the experience into words. I've never felt so strange, it was like an apocalyptic movie scene or something. Definitely the coolest nature/environmental situation I've ever experienced in my 40 years....

Re: Solar Eclipse!
We made a mini vacation out of it and it definitely exceeded our expectations. What a great experience.
Didn't try very hard, but was happy with a couple hand held shots from my old FZ80

Re: Good second Spyderco
Thanks all. So… I went from ordering one, to justifying a second, to planning a third! 😂 I think I may grab a Delica based on the recommendations and low point of entry. Number three will be either Native 5 or a P3. Jeez I hope three is it! LOL! Three would be a sane and sufficient number for anyon...

Re: Good second Spyderco
Sounds like you are looking for something smaller than the Pacific Salt? Probably in the 3" range? If so, the Delica is certainly the little brother to your pac salt. I find the Para3 cramped, but love the Sage series. Native5 is another good option that screams utility IMO. Chaparral is pocket...

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
https://i.imgur.com/qhZphs6.jpeg I was just looking at their blue titanium frame lock today (frag pattern). No joke. How do you like it? While great for the price, the first Penguin I had (demin micarta) was a little small and never connected with it. However, when I picked up a larger Penguin Plus...

Re: Chris Reeve Knives
Haha! Yes, that make sense.
I've had a few CRK tantos, small and large inkosi, and Zaan... All were sold eventually because I didn't enjoy using them. But **** they look good!
Nice line up. Is that KSF a glass blast?

The new contrast is a big improvement, thanks! Hi Kristi, A larger size font would be appreciated if possible? sal Agreed. While the font size is adjustable if logged in , the "unlogged" font size is tiny! That would affect the many readers of the forum who don't log in, possibly encourag...

Re: The Astute
With both and M4 and Framelock versions of the Tenacious now, maybe we'll see some more of that from China outside of that family?
Ideally this model would be made in Golden. The CF S90v treatment would suit this one well!

Re: Forum Update/Maintenance & Move - PLEASE READ
Glad to be back! Are all the forum titles on the main page now grey on grey for everyone? I know my eyes are getting old but having the text black like it is here in the thread would help immensely... Is there a user controlled theme change? I turned on some "always bold" option but that o...

Agreed. Love this knife. If it had a wire clip and M4 from Taichung it would be awesome... And $220StuntZombie wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 7:45 pmOne of the best designs to come out of Spyderco in years, and it's a shame it was part of the value line. It deserves a better steel.
