Re: AEB-L Urban sprint issue.

I just found this thread yesterday as I have been waiting for my new urban. I've had the K390 since it first came out and love it, I had no issues with mine. My AEB-L arrived today and I can see the differences and how the way the blade sits could be an issue, but mine seems ok and that doesn't both...

The brown is going to be nice. I hope it is not UPS brown, but coyote brown.
It is planned to be coyote!

Re: Where to sell my Spyderco knives?

I don't see much wheeling and dealing on the bladeforum website (individual, folding knives). Seems to be list it, PM sent, sold or no response. Does more go on on other for sale forums? I think any deals on BF are usually done via PM, they do happen though. The rules just restrict the banter in th...

Re: Para 3 nudge

I bought an S30V Para3 as soon as it was released, but didn't do it and was quickly gone. I think it just wasn't what I'd imagined since I was waiting for it. I tried again when the Cruwear sprint came out, same thing. I recently got the 4V exclusive and immediately put a deep carry clip on it, and ...

So just the Mantra 1, but not the 2? I would've expected it be both, or just the 2 of it was just one

Re: Tell Me about The Mantra 3!!

There is something off about the blade shape and/or the flipper tab. It is much different than the 1. Whether it's a recurve or not, the area where the blade and tab meet just looks odd. I might need to wait and see what people think before jumping in too.

Re: Exclusive Delica - Carbon Fiber with HAP40/SUS410

I love a Delica, and I love some carbon fiber. But this might be too much and the fact that it's hap40 again will probably make this a pass. Looks really nice though, I'll still be jealous as I check out the pictures in this thread.

Re: Can't open my St Nicks Para 3

Did they actually take the screws out and apply threadlock, or just tighten them down? If they just tightened them then I don't see the big deal. Grab a Torx bit and loosen them. Problem solved. I assumed they just tightened it down without removing it. That is exactly what I did, loosened it off a...

Re: Can't open my St Nicks Para 3

They might just on international orders. This. I would call them and ask. They may even go so far as to thread lock the pivot themselves, but like I said I'd like to at least know this ahead of time. It's really hard for me to believe Spyderco did this, this is the first I've ever seen of a pivot s...

Got a Sage 2 on the way
Congrats! I'm actually kind of surprised you don't already have a Sage 2.
Thanks! I've had a one and a five but never pulled the trigger on the 2, and currently have no sages.

Re: Can't open my St Nicks Para 3

I just got mine in the mail today too, it was also incredibly tight. I wondered however if it was St Nick's that tightened it down before sending it out due to the fact it had to go through customs. Maybe they were trying to help us out. I loosened off the pivot and adjusted it and now its great.

Re: Mantra 3 Release?

Hmm, that grind is interesting. It's strange looking for sure, I wonder if that's just his sample or how they'll be. Seems like it curves back out into the flipper tab. Maybe it's to clear the compression lock, but I don't know if the recurve was necessary. But I guess this means it'll be dropping s...

I'm also looking forward to the Mantra 3, I think it will be a great EDC. Already sold my Sage 5 in anticipation.
If we're counting them also include the urban and ukpk sprints
