Re: Red Loctite - An Official Statement from Spyderco

Am I the only one still confused about the warranty policy?? I thought the stated policy was pretty clear "DAMAGE caused by disassembly" voids the warranty. Disassembly does not. But then the past quotes from Michael and Kristi seem to contradict that. So which is it? As Michael Janich st...

Re: Anyone Else Like Mules?

Thank you so much for the tutorial. I have a MT01 just sitting here waiting on scales. I will have to give it a try.

Thanks,

Kevin

Re: Military and Paramilitary: Point Strength?

I have a PM2 and when I looked at the tip it chipped. I had the knife for a week and I must have done something, but I don't know what. I didn't even use it for cutting anything. Not sure what happened. Eventually it will come back, but it is fragile. Beware!!! Nice knife though.

Re: Pocketfriendly-ness

IWB carry at 4:00 is the only way I carry. Any sized knife just disappears so I don't need to be picky with what I carry. You guys should try it and it frees up the pockets. It is also very easy to deploy once you get used to it.

Give it a try.

Re: Positron or Techno? Which to get... First.

Does it really matter which you get first? I say get the one that you have more doubts about. That way you can evaluate it first. I know that my decisions change quite often once I think I have something narrowed down. I don't have the Positron, but I really love my Techno. It pairs perfectly with i...

Re: GB2 or PM2?

Don't look at the PM2 tip or it will chip. Biggest issue with the knife otherwise I love it.

I've heard of lock stick on the K2. The Slyze Bowie gets the rave reviews. It even gets compared to a Sebenza :)

Re: Anyone Else Like Mules?

I picked up 3 Mules last year. Spyderco Mule Team 1 - 52100 steel Spyderco Mule Team 3 - S90V steel Spyderco Mule Team 21 - CPM 4V The #1 and #3 I got off the exchange for reasonable prices. I did order 2 sets of Halpern scales and set to work on installing on the MT1 and MT3. I couldn't get them to...

Re: Grip tape, gun grips, and stippling

Hockey tape works for me. Unless you are trying to make it pretty, the tape makes this tool more comfortable for me. No one sees the tape unless it is out of hand. Who cares. I also filled in the grooves of the front handle area with built up tape. I can resell as stock if I choose. YMMV. :). BTW I ...

Re: Did i buy a fake Ambitious? (Texas ebay seller)

Sorry about your issue.

The Techno is an absolutely awesome knike in materials and craftsmanship. The blade stock is thick so it is not really a slicer, but a tough little knife.
