Just now after I posted I was able to download Roguesouls' pics and that is representative of what the knife looks like. As you can see it is a cosmetic flaw, not a functionaly flaw. It is something I would expect from a "second" but not a first rate Spydie.

Thanks for all of the great responses. The knife in question functions fine (opens and closes correctly without hanging up on the handle), but the blade is definitely curved. If you lay the blade on the edge of a table you can the curvature easily. I'll send the knife back to NGK with a note saying ...

Does the blade sit crooked in the handle? When the blade is closed on mine, the tip of the blade touches the inside of the handle.
