I have a rather expesive guitar (for me) with a serial number on its neck. I would be surprised if the serial number is not secreted in other locations. I would not buy one of these if any number looked funky or possibly without checking with the company. The manufacturer maintains a database of ...

Maybe this situation again?
I bought and got a Lil'Temp leaf blade soon after they hit the dealers. Soon after that the supply got thin. The explination I got was there was trouble with the outsourced machining and the knife lock was not safe to Spyderco standards. Compression locks are difficult to make and perfection is ...

I have an Edge Pro and do not care about actual edge geometry. If the edge is not suitable to task I'll just move up or down to alter the cutting edge. I've even added file marks to add interdediate positions between the red/yellow/green/blue notches. Deburing does not require a full three degree ...

If you sharpen correctly a burr will always be created. I never used to de burr. Now, After each grit I have started simply running the edge through some material like cork, or the base of my sharpen stone. As it has been explained to me, this eliminates the possibility of leaving a hair edge in ...

Correct use of an Edge Pro will give you whatever edge you tried for. My favorite use is to use my Edge Pro as I need the edge but then the last few strop stokes are done on my Levies. A bit of titanium dioxide goes a long way on the pant leg.

No one has suggested a Delica trainer to safely play with along with a "real" pink Delica.

I admit I have not read all the way through this thread but this three finger thingy sounds dangerous. I have done similar but there are better ways. Different uses require diffent edges. My favorite edge is toothy S30-V. Polishing the edge is great for shaving but will not cut rope very well. I do ...

Where I live nobody can figure out the applicable knife laws. My bad, but things should be clearer. I go with the three finger rule but that is so crazy. Big hands and small hands...and a cop who'd like your knife. It is kind of a good deal. No court or possible jail time and a cop gets a new knife ...

I have an Egde Pro Apex but shouldn'd this be in off topic? Great system with advantages and limitations but this IS the Spyderco forum.

[quote="Evil D"]See i've been mentioning this a lot on different forums, and people tell me a lot of mixed info. Someone here say Ohio has no length law, but i've read that there's at least one city near me who has a 2.5 limit, and then i hear a lot of people say 3 is the limit. I've ALWAYS heard 3 ...
