Re: China

Hi sal ,

In addition to my earlier post, I would like to add: yes I wouldn't mind to see a (upgraded) Chinese made line next to the Byrds. Better steel than 8cr, preferably stainless, ball-bearings, Spydie hole/flipper, button-lock/compression -lock

I've just acquired a Böker EDK for €123 (incl ...

Re: China

A Spyderco Byrd CaraCara started my collection and it's a good knife for the money. So I'm certainly not against China made (Spyderco) knives.
In the recent times with pricing going up, Spyderco MAP enforcement didn't help back in the day, I've also acquired some knives made by WE Knife. They are ...

Re: What's The Best Deal You Have Made on a Spydie?

It was on my daily user, a standard Delica 4 PE FRN.
50% of retail (€40, ~$50). It was missing a screw from the pocket clip so they couldn't sell it. They dropped it in the B-stock box.
Bought it, mailed Spyderco's awesome CS and the screws/clip were on their way to me. It's one of my favorite knives.

Great catalog again, I'm looking forward to receive the printed copy. Quickly went through it and there are some beautiful new offerings.

Re: CS Exclusive Orange Paramilitary 2 DLC CTS-XHP

I just had to add this one to my Spyderco collection. Wallet is empty (stupid import taxes) but what a gorgeous knife.
Very satisfied with how my international order was handled @cutlery shoppe. Free pen and lollipops as a nice bonus.

attachment-3.jpg Have this one incoming. Kind of an impulse buy so I'm not sure I'll hang onto it.
I like mine ;) it's more of a show piece for me but those scales wow they are nice IRL. That blue pops out big time. Scored mine via Massdrop last year, I hesitated like you but when I held it I knew ...

Incoming.... Lil' Lionspy.

Very nice deal @ Massdrop. Knives are not cheap here in The Netherlands. I'm a little bit jealous on the US prices.

Re: Is there a BYRD in your pocket??

Cara Cara FRN here, was my first 'Spydie" knife. It's a bit to big to carry around at work for me, so my recently bought Chaparral is up for that task.
