I think it's time to just break down and buy the whole itamae line.
How sharp are they from the factory? And how is the steel?
First time I cut up an onion I thought it was rotten because there was 0 resistance.

I would like to see a knife that incorporates a periscope, or a microscope, or both to tell the truth.

Either Blade HQ needs to do a M4/Green G10 or DLT needs to do a Cruwear/Red G10 and everyone will be happy.

And not just knives. Where are the Magnacut forks and spoons?

Re: Where is the best place to look for rare or uncommon spyderco knives?

For upcoming new releases the best place to look is right here. For older models that are out of production this place has an extensive inventory. https://www.arizonacustomknives.com/knives-by-maker/spyderco/?page=1&availability=1&price[min]=$0&price[max]=$20,000+&limit=15&sortBy...

Re: Different Shaman Steels

If you want a Shaman in a "different" steel the best thing to do is watch here and have the cash ready. There will always be more new releases of that model and you won't need to track anything down or pay inflated prices. This is the recently release 15V. https://i.imgur.com/Qi6dftd.jpg

Yeah that too. But I'd happily pay more for the higher quality steel
Good news! Super Blue is a very high quality steel.

I think guns work better for this role.
I tried a serrated gun once. Tricky to keep a good grip.

Re: Spyderco liner locks

I trust my Spyderco Military more than 99% of the titanium frame locks out there. The Ti framelock is only as strong as its thinnest section - most of them are extremely thin, and titanium is nowhere near as strong as steel given the same thickness. I have 3 Military models now, but I've owned 20 o...

So for folks in Europe who want a knife like this they should take a look at what Fred Perrin does. For the rest of us, how about these? https://cdn.brandfolder.io/YLOLU61B/as/n5bjhmkhbcpswj9h2rt9w9h/FB48PBK_Both.png?width=800 https://cdn.brandfolder.io/YLOLU61B/as/ewkzstz3/FB15PBBK_Both.png?width=8...
