Re: Spyderco polestar vs steel will modus

That's a no brainer.Buy the Polestar,it's a wonderful knife, and the liner lock is plenty strong for all sensible use of a folding knife.I don't understand why this knife is not more popular.By the way,i'm a Polestar fanboy,so my opinion is highly subjective :)

Re: Why do you have the knives you do?

Because they make me happy.I love hunting them, and until they arrive,i feel like a child before Christmas. And with Spyderco,it's Christmas at least 4 times/year :).

Re: Para 2 as EDDC

Without a serious training, which i dont think you have, you should not even dream to carry a knife for SD.Delicas and Enduras are the best choices, due to the fact they had a trainer version. That's a great observation "Spyderwolf" ;) I do carry two Spyders on my person daily and have for over 9 year...

Re: Where is my Bow River ?

Seeing the knife in the recent IWA videos and still not seeing any sheath is driving me nuts! Hah just show us already! I think no one seen the sheath because it doesnt exist yet,and this is way the Bow River is not out yet. Can't speak for anyone else, but for the "street price" these will be sell...

I will be a HUGE seller, but not for me.I don't like tanto blades.
What are your reasons for this?
I could say they are hard to sharpen,or that they are of little use in EDC tasks, but the truth is i just dont like them, just like i dont like caramel. No resons needed :D

Big Brother program

I think the Big Brother program Spyderco has is unique in the knife industry.Delica-Endura,PM2-PM3,Native-Lil,Native,Street Beat-Street Bowie,Bradley Bowie-Junction,etc.is a great way to offer not a downsized version of the bigger knife, but a smaller version, with it's own characteristics and uses. I...

Re: Let's Get Serious: G-10 Handles Are Just Hard To Beat For EDC uses

I like it all but in my users I prefer frn...and all my knives are users. Lighter weight, better grip when wet/bloody yet slides in and out of pocket or waistband easier than peel ply g10. I also like that it brings the price point down on any given model. I’ll get an frn para3 soon and I doubt I’l...

Re: So I think Spydies are beautiful...

I think Spyderco makes the most recognizable knives on the market. They also offer a great variety of models and designs, basically something for every taste and budget. The in-house designs are,for me,the most beautiful knives ever created, and the most functional ones.

Not for me.A pry bar can't cut good, and a knife can't pry good. There are enough tacticool toys on the market.

Re: Para 2/3 vs yojimbo 2

Wait a little and get the PM3 lightweight first.Of course, you will end up buying all of them,so try next the PM2,then the Y2,then a G10 PM3.
