Just found this from Apr 5, 2021, on BladeForums:

“Our hi-performance Delica is just beginning to go forward. High hollow grind, thin edge, I'd like K390. Should be fun and eye opening.”
Can't wait. Probably buy 2 if they let me.

Re: The Truth About The Ikuchi

Don´t want to derail the thread, but since it was started by Michael Scott, who passed away quite recently: Could be a good opportunity to remember him! He was a really nice and helpful guy. / On the lockbar - thing: I never had an Ikuchi, but a Kapara which also has a rather small cutout (plus a s...

Re: Spyder Classics: The C-61 Pegasus

Hi, JD, I love your chosen model discussions whenever I scroll through the forums, as they remind me of the models you and I have both coveted over the years. The Zowada, Merlin, Temperance, Lava, and Dyad just come to mind. Anyway, with this post, you reminded me of the small Spydies in my collect...

As a South African I’m going to throw my countrymen’s names in the ring - another Des Horn maybe or a Trevor Burger or an Andre Thorburn collaboration? Front flippers were, for quite some time, the domain of our local knife makers.
Another Des Horn collab would be golden!

Re: Why are so many people concerned with perfect blade centering?

The blade being slightly off-centre in a folding knife is not a critical tolerance in my humble opinion, and it does not detract from the value or quality of the tool in its intended role. I find it unfair to keep adding pressure to manufacturers in terms of quality control for cosmetic concerns......

Re: Why are so many people concerned with perfect blade centering?

If i bought a new car i would be upset if the doors and panels were badly fitted and the gaps between panels were off.
It wouldn't matter in daily life, but it is a sign of cutting corners and not paying the attention the procuct/price deserves.

Re: Could it be that Spyderco will "rerun" the entire Sage series in Maxamet?

Hard to say what they'll do but I don't like the idea of them doing all the previous models over again. Rather than revisit the past I'd prefer them to focus on new versions using different lock types like the series is supposed to showcase. Word up! Quit side/back stepping and bring Sage 6 please!...

Suingab ( https://g10.lt/ ) gets my vote. Fit and finish to rival the factory ones and a nice and easy going guy to deal with.

Re: The Return of the Persian

I can look into it. Full flat? Steel" handle material? Bolsers? Changes? Ed's opinon? sal I voted 'maybe' because i frankly wouldn't care for a FFG full G10 or FRN handled one. Now a bolstered, micarta or wood handle on the other hand.. Don't care too much about steel either as long as it's = > VG10.
