Re: Dear Sal 2019 is coming to a close will there be a...

I still think the next forum knife should be from one of the knife makers that had a relationship with Spyderco and who has recently passed away (Wayne Goddard comes to mind). Micarta and Cruwear? I don't see why not, but the model should be an homage to those whom the knife community has lost. Tha...

Re: Endela Pakkawood HAP40

I'd buy one immediately!
(haven't seen this subject come up before)
Just got a set of Ironwood scales for my Shaman, they came out super nice IMO!
If i could afford it i'd dress up more of my knives with wood or Micarta scales.

Re: Re-release of the Spyderco Story book?

As far as i remember, hearing and reading, the publishing company (Paladin press) went belly up and it would be too much work recreating it (the book)

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!

Thanks man! I should really redo it in proper light and tiles paralell etc. Liked the idea though :) Lighting can be tough depending on what camera and lens you are using, it really does matter a lot. My old D90 just plain sucked in lower light, but that's a 10 YO camera. The new camera bodies are ...

Re: POLL: Who´d like the Native-family to become the general "coming in both comp.lock and backlock version" - line?

To me they're just fine the way they are. I'd rather see new models than a bewildering array of endless variants. I get what you mean and it´s a valid point! But my proposal is (exactly) not about a "bewildering array of endless variants"! But to have ONE SINGLE line of Spydies, very popular and ro...

Re: 2020 Calendar Contest Images

DutchBlades, Attila, TkoK83spy and filoso have really knocked this out, oh and Mushroom. Well done. I just couldn't find a good one, felt way to 'forced'. Goodluck folks. Great entries. Same here. Ended up not sending a eked out one just for the sake of participating. I need to feel like i have a p...

All cut my fingers equally good.
My Harpy wins that award.. :O
I'd say my V-Toku2 Manbug. It's like a laser beam. Granted it is somewhat handicapped due to its small size but that wasn't the question.

I have no use for a fixed blade knife. Truth be told i hardly use my folder/s anymore except for mundane tasks like opening boxes and packages..
So there is that.. :)

Cool, thanks for posting that! That's a pretty cool locking mechanism.

It looks like those Roman knife designs were a big influence on the Spanish Navaja.
