Re: Damasteel UK Penknife UKPK - DAMASTEEL PATTERN

1. Odins Eye
2. Sparse Twist
3. Rose (Too "Acid trippy" for me)

EDIT: It is kinda hard (i think) to imagine the/a blade in the pattern shown. I really think i would be ok with most of them even if the #1 and 2 i listed are favorites.

Re: Forum search turned up nothing: How do you lubricate the washers on Manix 2 LW?

Ok, this will be my last post about this.. Last time i disassembled a Endura (for scale swap, not "maintenance") there was oil on the liners all the way back to the back spacer. Trust me (or don't) the capillary force work, and is strong! :) The oil _will_ get in there without risking damage to the ...

Re: Forum search turned up nothing: How do you lubricate the washers on Manix 2 LW?

The pivot is not pinned, so it would also be possible to take the blade out entirely. I have never done this though so I can't say how difficult it would be to reassemble. With all due respect it makes as much sense taking the blade out of the frame as it does taking your motorcycle engine out of t...

Re: Scarcity of CBBL

My problem with this lock is the need for "palm traction" to unlock it...you have to plant the butt end of the handle into the palm of your hand in order to get enough leverage to pull back the lock cage. This forces me to fiddle around with the knife to get it into the right position in my hand to...

Hi Systmrcvr, Welcome to our forum. We're kinda forcing these exclusive customers to make higher numbers. sal I like the sound of this. Its a double edged sword. Forcing the retailer to take more risk might result in less sprints. You mean the risk it will take an hour instead of a minute to sell o...

Re: I'm falling out of love with the Compression Lock

The compression lock is a ingenious design alright but in my hand, for extended cutting give me a Buck 110 any day of the weeks as far as ergos are concerned.

Sincerely, The old f*rt Luddite

Re: Model longest in production

I'd say the stainless steel Police must be the longest lasting, least changed model in the catalog.
Endura/Delica are true veterans as well but although still easily recognizable, has gone through more changes than the Police.
