Re: Urban Slipjoint 'action' not crisp

I can confirm 1 of my Urban K390 user is the same of OP, pity to say. The other one I own is stored away and not yet used, but I cheked and it is without defect, but not yet used, so cannot say if it is a matter of worn or not

Re: Spyderco Taichung Taiwan Knife question

Spyderco knives are also made in Maniago, and in 5 weeks in Italy this year I saw a total of one local carrying a Spyderco. One of the (military) guards at the Coliseum had a PM2. Other than that, I didn't see a single one. ...and you'll never see my Spydercos carried out! Not legal carry them unfo...

Re: "Talkin' Story"

The safest spydie I would offer to a non-knife person is my K390 Urban. The back spring is so strong in both closing positions that, unless you are retard, it's very difficult to cut yourself plus it's a very friendly looking spydie. So, yes, we need another LW Urban, this time in a stainless steel w...

Re: Spyderco Wolfspyder

I have found mine on Ebay. Waited for three months. They are American made and OK. :-) Oh and I like to sand them for a smoother experience and a vintage feel. (BTW I have just posted a story about Italy in my blog: https://nemoknivesreview.com/2017/10/05/spyderco-c22-in-zdp189-amazing-after-six-ye...

Welcome to the Forum dandan

For my European friends here @dandan and @Nemo3000: I'm interested in Ti clips. Have you found any European store selling them?

Thanks

Re: Caly Jr. Sprint

My vote was for Super Blue, but I do not like the lamination (e.g. on my Stretch). I was thinking that it couldn't be possible to have Super Blue un-laminated blades, then I've seen this photo here on Forum (not mine obviously, thanks @xceptnl whom I stealed from  ) https://i.imgur.com/KSN...

Re: 52100

I was under the impression that the new spring on the ukpk was more advanced than the solid one used in Italy. The new UKPK's "lock" up nice and solid. Hi Cobra, I wrote that because I've seen in another Forum one UKPS backspring broken, and when I had my Urban disassembled I compared the...

Same for me. A Salt Urban would be awesome, but either UKPK not bad at all

I too vote for this!

And why not think about switching from UKPK diapason kind of backspring to the Urban solid one ??? Just my 2 cents

I understand your feeling precisely, sorry :( but something could happen: Many years ago I've lost my very first Spyderco (a Cricket Aluminum scale) at a friend's house. It'was a party and we had to cut chestnuts for cooking onto the flame; a great opportunity to take my Cricket from my pocket and s...

Re: Best steel for sharp edges

From what I have read on K390, it is the European (Bohler?) take on PMA11 (and maybe 10V is another equivalent). Apart from the PMA11 mule, the only Spyderco using one of these steels that I know about is the new Police. This is a knife that I haven't felt an urge to have. The military seems plenty...

If anyone is still looking, there is some available from a reputable seller on ebay, ships from Canada though so not sure how much it'll end up being. http://www.ebay.com/itm/SPYDERCO-C223GPGYCW-PARA-3-G10-CRUWEARSTEEL-FOLDING-KNIFE-SPRINT/272855106909?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%...
