http://i.imgur.com/PeO7qL1.jpg?1 Only a knife person could understand the friend-like bond that has developed by the years of carrying this old Endura. Really love all my Spydercos but this one is special because it was the knife that introduced me to the Spyderco brand. Too many days of work, fish...

Re: How to improve the Manix 2
Just make the blade multi-colored and add a flipper to it, then it'll be perfect. Very funny and well played jabba359,, and I'll just leave it at that to avoid any backlash like I experienced in another, eerily similar thread  Also, I have a Manix 2 LW in S110V and wouldn't change a thing. Re: Gayle Bradley 2
I may be internet shopping challenged but I just checked NGK, knife center and knife works and all only show GB1 in stock. Keep in mind that I am about to turn 50 so it's VERY possible that I'm missing something. Also, to the post from Blerv, no worries on a possible derail here at all. I welcome m...

Re: Gayle Bradley 2
Thanks for the heads up abbazaba. I need to check NGK again. The last time I looked they only had GB1s available. Also, thanks for the suggestions. I've have the Chap and Sage on my gotta have list but just haven't been able to pull the trigger on them yet. That compression lock Sage5 looks AWESOME ...

Re: Gayle Bradley 2
I'm also open to other suggestions for a Spyderco Birthday purchase if the GB2 is not going to be available for quite awhile. My current Spyderco collection consists of the following: Military - S30v black handle Para 2 - S30v black handle Manix LW - S110v Endura - VG10 Grey Delica - VG10 Orange Pac...

Gayle Bradley 2
I was really hoping to get one of these for my upcoming 50th birthday. However, it seems that they are on hold from the factory and have been for a few months. Does anyone have an idea of the ETA for the next shipment?

Re: Open Call for Spydie Poetry....
My knife is my friend every Spyderco is and it's no lie But I sure wish they would send at least one GB2s for me to buy Ive been waiting for the drop But no GB2s are in the mail. Staring at my e-mail I can't stop and trips to the mail box make a trail This poem is freak'n lame but I really don't giv...

Re: Spyderholics anonymous?
I'm right there with ya. Bought my first Spyderco, an orange VG10 Delica, and a Full Serrated Yellow Pacific Salt just over 3 years ago. Now collection is up to 11 Spydies and a SharpMaker. It will be 12 if the GB2 ever gets back in stock! Admitting there is a problem is the first step. Whatever,,, ...

Out-Freak'n-Standing!!! Dude, I posted pics of my first Mule project in another Mule Team thread and now I wish I hadn't. Your's makes mine look pretty rough. That handle is pro level stuff for sure. Very well done sir,, and I especially like the tube used as pins on the front and rear,, very nice t...

Re: Your "most worn out" Spyderco?
Of all my Spyderco knives, my old grey VG10 Endura and my Pacific Salt have seen the most use/abuse. They are not the most carried, that would go to either my PM2 or Manix 2 LW S110v. No, these are what I go to when there is dirty work to be done. This Endura has cleaned many, many, many catfish and...

Re: Anyone Else Like Mules?
Quick update on my first Mule Team project. I purchased a sheet of 7-8oz veg tanned cowhide to make a sheath. It was my first time doing any leather work so I had to purchase the materials and tools needed to do the tooling, dyeing and cutting. I found a pic of a horizontal carry sheath online and p...

Re: Please no more paperclip pocket clips
I like them on small light knives, I like hourglass on medium sized and up. Weight is the deciding factor for me. I had absolutely no problem with my Manix 2 LW having a wire clip but I wouldn't want it on my G10 Manix 2. I think they definitely have their place though. I wouldn't want an hourglass...

Re: Anyone Else Like Mules?
It's not perfect but man I sure do like it. I got into the handle a little deep by the lanyard hole when cutting the tube before sanding. I could have sanded deeper to get it all the way out but I didn't want to go any thiner,, I was liking how the scales were feeling so I just decided to leave that...

Re: Anyone Else Like Mules?
Really knew that I was over my head on this but it was too late to stop now! Now it was time to take it back apart and apply the epoxy. I scuffed the handle area of the knife and applied a liberal amount of e-120hp loctite. Aligned the scales and pins and clamped. It wasn't easy but I left it alone ...
