Re: Straight Razor from Spyderco
This is so exciting. I will 100% buy a Spyderco straight razor. Sal talked about straight razor shaving when he visited the knife shop i worked at years ago. I tried it and it’s all I use since. It was an honour to meet Sal and I will definitely buy a Spyderco razor

Re: Native 5 CF S90V fit and finish
My one has a chip in the CF similar to yours but I did get it secondhand for a good price. I’ve just been using it very happily tho. Its one of my favourites despite the visual defect. The contours as well as the s90v makes it amazing. I do hope to try out a FRN native at some point as the humpless ...

Re: Triple B/Spyderco Folder
I will be getting one of these for sure. I’m very happy to hear it’s in cue. I will patiently wait for its release. I have followed BBB for quite sometime and I appreciate his vids and knowledge that I’ve gained in this hobby thanks to him. Thank you Sal, Shawn, and Spyderco team for making this hap...

Re: Thought it was bent, but was the grind
My Police 4 g10 also has an uneven grind. It's not that serious so I'm happily using it. I did get a good deal, and it's a total user so can't complain. Love the Police 4!

Re: Interest for an all Titanium Ikuchi?
Maybe the scales (pun intended) could have a theme like this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ikuchi I really like this idea. Milled "cups" on the edges of the scales, mimicking the Ikuchi's tentacles. Good thinking! I wonder if the name is derived from this or possibly a 'Aikuchi', which...

Re: Native 5 - Fluted Carbon - S90V
I got one recently and I'm very happy with it. The fluted Ti is a beauty too but the CF is so much lighter. The s90v is great as always and I've been using it almost everyday for the last few months. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love my Caly 3 sprint. I hope to have more in the future. If there is ever a CQI for a thinner blade stock like the UKPK I would love it even more. I'll be happy with a FRN version too

It own the native 5 Ti too.
Your knife looks legit. The backspacer/backlock looks flush against the handle scales. Clean looking in both open and closed positions. That's makes this knife so impressive and attractive to me :) Enjoy the knife!

Re: White Handle
White handles for "safe queens" and brown handles for "users". I prefer white handled users, turning brown from use. ;) Then you clean them and repeat the process. I also enjoy the dirty handle look on my light grey Para 3 Cruwear. I'll love to have a white handled Spydie.

Re: CPM M4 edc fixed blade
It would still rust. Hey Hitch, for what it’s worth I live a little less than a kilometre, as the crow flies from the ocean in humid Sydney and work on a Naval Base in Sydney Harbour. Undoubtedly corrosion can be a problem but I find it’s easily managed with the plethora of quality CLP’s etc. on th...

Re: CPM M4 edc fixed blade
Sounds like there is a lot of interest in an M4 fixed blade. Quite frankly, I'm surprised it didn't happen a long time ago. Especially since Spyderco's M4 heat treat is well respected in the industry. My preference would be pukko or Bushcraft style knife. Contoured handle. Oh yes, a M4 pukko would ...

Re: POLL: Choking up on Ricasso or even edge - who does it?
I happen to choke up quite a bit on blades. I do this a lot on ladybug, victorinox, Barlow style knives where I can hold the blade to only expose a small portion of the tip to cut into things where it don't want to damage the contents or cut too deep. I don't squeeze on the edge portion but the fing...
