Re: Why so many emails
I am getting a dozen or two false updates every day
from some threads to which I have contributed.
Malware has probably infected the forum
or the forum host servers.
Good luck, Spyderco.

Re: Post a spydie and a gun thread
Great pictures!
Good color combination on the Scorpions.
Brilliant edges on the knives
and crisp details on the old school Python.
The hollow points were a nice touch, too.
More Harpies and, wait. Is that a Detonics?
What does the brass dog tag say?

Re: Show your Bugs and Critters
Here is another one. Didn't get quite all of the tail in the picture. Not the same one that was on the porch. This one is not solid black but has a pattern. The shadow of my arm gives an idea of his size. Not so sure but iNaturalist SEEK identified it as an Eastern King Snake. Harmless, unless you a...

Why do you need a license to buy a pistol?
Where are you?

Re: Tip Up vs Tip Down Poll
With a little over a hundred votes in slightly more than half are tip up. I thought it would be higher. Thank you for playing and keep voting and commenting. Here is a display of most of my Spyderco knives. (I've sold only one which I now regret, and given away eight.) Note that all of them have the...

Thanks for the tip.
Speaking of tips, back in the day
U.S. Army 30-06 ammo with black tips
was armor piercing.
In case it comes up at a cocktail party.

Re: The Tactical Bottle Opener: Spyderco ClipiTool Standard
It's been a while but I spotted a new to me brew. I have been avoiding all Anheuser Busch beers over the recent controversy about Bud Light, but my favorite pub here in Deep East Texas now has a new waitress. She is tall, broad shouldered and has a powerful build. I give up. https://lh3.googleuserco...

Re: Show your Bugs and Critters
I do not have a picture but on a few occasions I have seen a single black squirrel here in East Texas. And on a trip in Washington state saw a number of black squirrels in a park. They are known as melanistic squirrels. My cousin was deer hunting on my place and saw a melanistic buck. She was too st...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
The first consideration would be
the way the rifle is going to be used.
Long range bench rest type shooting
or packing it into the field and up mountains.
Shooting from improvised rests
or offhand snapshots
at uncertain ranges.
Scope weight, surprisingly, can vary a great deal.
