This for me too. I switched the clip on my Tenacious to see what it was like and I switched it back.

Re: The Vrango folder

Mine arrived a couple of days ago and I am really enjoying this knife. When I saw the picture of this originally, I knew I wanted one. I had the chance to handle one at a local shop and was surprised by the size as I thought it would be larger. After carrying this for a few days I feel that this is ...

Re: Do you or have you ever edc'd a fixed blade

I have picked up a couple of small fixed EDC's lately and am looking for a good carry method. I have a small FB in my bag, but the swick looks like it may be a good option. Living in a big city has it's challenges carrying a fixed blade.

I have a Sage2 and Persistence to compare. While both knives are very nice, I think I like the Persistence better.

Re: Want an new EDC. Criteria: Sub 3’’, Cutting capacity, ergonomics, clip, weight.

I can relate to this as I was looking for the same thing recently and went with the Sage2. The wire clip gives it a nice low carry and the size is enough to handle most of my daily tasks without freaking anyone out.

I will eventuall get a Stealth Chap though too.

It's been 30+ years for me. My first Spydie was a slab sided SS worker (which I still have and use regularly).

I would carry this way in a nice belt sheath. Something that will take a lot more wear than my pockets, that's for sure.

Re: Sharp Edges on Spyder Hole

If I remember correctly this sharpness is due to either excellent tools or equipment and craftsmanship or a combination. I never tried to isolate which knives I had that had a sharp hole or liners to a particular factory but it might be interesting to see. Jack I would agree since the maching on th...

Re: Sharp Edges on Spyder Hole

I was thinking about taking a thin strip of emery paper and smoothing this out a little (don't have a SharpMaker yet). The edges on my Yo2 are nowhere as sharp as on my Sage.

Sharp Edges on Spyder Hole

I have recently picked up a couple of knives and the Spyderhole has very sharp edges. Just wondering if there is a good way to take the edge off and keep the hole consistent.

Sage or Native...Your thoughts

I am looking at picking up a Sage or a Native and was looking for some guidance. Specifically I am looking at the Ti versions of these. I am leaning towards the Sage 2 over the native because I feel the liner lock is easier to operate one handed (closing specifically), but really like the lines of t...

Just to pile on here. Steve just modded a Pingo for me. Not only is the work he does amazing, but it makes this knife much more comfortable to use and carry.

I just found this thread and it has been very informative since I have been eyeing a small Sebenza for a while. The new Insingo blade style appeals to me.
