Ironically, phrases such as "slicker than snail snot" as considered acceptable. Who want snail snot? It no got swampwalk! I don't want snail snot. But finding a knife that opens slicker than snail snot in a greased teflon pan would really be something :p Oh, wait, I have a couple of those...

Chad,

Consider them sent!

BTW, I haven't had much time to reply, but that stuff you sent me in the last email was very impressive - as always!

That's one of the things that is so great about digital. I can take as many pics as I want. And I don't wind up feeling bad by spending a small fortune in developing a bunch of film. Especially important when only a few of my pics are keepers. One pro told me one time that he showed very few of his ...

Should I get one with as many megapixels as I can afford? In my opinion, yes. With a caveat. If you are ONLY going to post web pics, anything over 2.0 MP is probably a waste. But, if you are EVER going to print... Most of the ones I'm looking at are between 2.8 and 4.0. If you can afford it, I woul...

Ah... now I understand what you want. My wife is a doc and she HATES ALL of my LED lights. The color, she says, is not "realistic". LED's have too much variance in them anyway. I have three surefire LEDs and no two of them have the same tint. If you're as picky as my wife :D I think you go...

The NRC will not allow the use of tritium in a toy or novelty item and a keyring is concidered a novelty item. Watches and night sights are concidered tools. Ah... OK, I misunderstood the previous post. For some reason I was thinking it was just the *importation* of toys / novelties that they had a...

So here's what I don't understand...

Why doesn't someone in the US make them?

I mean, I've got tritium in Night Sites and Luminox Watches. What is the deal?

Is it also related to the quantity? I'm thinking more in the keychain than in my H&K.

Tip Up. No problems with dirt / lint / etc.

Only problem I had was that *@#$! Red Loctite that was on the threads. Buggered up one of the screw heads trying to get the thing loose.

The key mate is a nice keychain light. And the photon as well. I noticed you mentioned you could have something bigger though. If you can handle a light that uses x2 AA batteries, Streamllight has a new one on the market that looks very promising: http://www.streamlight.com/jr_lux_all.htm Only 3.8 o...

Howdy, I have a Gerber and a Leatherman Micra. The gerber is OK, but it seemed to get really "loose" after a year of light to medium usage. The micra is cool, but the scissors seemed to be REALLY soft. I'm not carrying either right now. I'm thinking about getting a SOG because one of my fr...
