A question... Someone recently posted a link to a rare spyderco site (www.angelfire.com/trek/spyderwa). They list the Gray Matriarch as being a South African only model, but I found a reference at the Spyderco "History" page that says it was produced in 1999 and doesn't specify a foreign m...

Sal, Thanks for that information. The fact that a manufacturer (in this case Benchmade) at one time licensed the hole (TM & patent) would seem to only strengthen spyderco's position. For what its worth, I think you're doing the right thing in protecting your property. I wanted to tell you someth...

OK... Stupid question: The first benchmade I ever bought years ago was an AFCK. That thing has a circular hole (it's been discontinued now but was in production a long time). Current models have an oval hole or a thumbstud. I always assumed that benchmade had licensed that round hole from Spyderco. ...

I used old surplus machetes growing up on the farm along with various hunting knives. My dad and I started a "collection" when I was in elementary school that is made up of everything from Buck to Case, to Marbles. The first one that was "mine" was a little Buck 303 (I still carr...

What a great question... I wish I knew - I've been trying to define Alabama's law for a while. I've talked to 2 police officers - neither could really tell me. Both thought 4 inches would be OK. One gun store owner told me 2.5 inches Another one said 4". An outdoor store here told me that, &quo...

Lil' Temperance Trainer?

Greetings,

I bought a Lil' Temperance a couple of weeks ago. What a great knife.

I'm wondering though, why a trainer has never been made for this knife. Is anything in the works, is the knife slated for discontinuation, or is there something else?

Thanks for any info you can give me.
