Based on my own experience I´d rather use the name SharpKEEPER instead of SharpMAKER. The reason is simple: whenever material really has to be removed Sharpmaker just doesn´t cut :) it. From the engineering point of view, a knife bearing is no different from any other bearing i.e. it REQUIRES lubrication for smooth operation and waterproof grease just the ticket. Non-lubricated folder is like running a car engine w/o oil, it will fail.

Would it be possible to get even one picture of a Spyderco in actual USE, preferably in well used condition, beaten and repeatedly sharpened? All the pix seem to be of safe queens...as if Spydercos actually weren´t TOOLS?
