As a toolmaker I use diamond grinding wheels on carbides, and ceramics, CBN I use for tool steels. In theory diamond isn’t ideal for use on ferrous materials. The slow speed of hand sharpening doesn’t create enough heat to be detrimental to diamond which is why they both work in sharpening rods. IMO...

Interestingly, DLT had a limit of 2 per household; Blade HQ didn't. I don't know what that's all about, but I could've easily scooped up 10 or 100 knives from Blade HQ.

Annnd that’s why some jagbag is selling them for 390$ a pop with 3 available on the Bay right now.

199 not bad, I was expecting it to be much more. Standard s30v with dlc is the same price.

The jade scales look nice in the picture but as with the rest of the jade line, easily dyed to the users liking.
