Roadie.
Roadie for certain! I love that little knife. It is my favorite tiny knife.

We know. ;) I love mine, too.

Re: How long have you been carrying knives, and how have your needs changed?

I rediscovered my fascination for knives in 2014. Already liked them as a young boy. Have been carrying at least one Spydie always on me since 2016 or 2017, I guess. How have my needs changed? Well, first I discovered that I could get me a knife, then I figured that I *need* more than one knife. ;) ...

Re: Paracord wrap da Mule - collection of tutorials for different designs/techniques

Thanks guys! I hope it helps. There’s still plenty of room for experimenting and tweaking this style wrap. I would like to put more loops/strands under the wrapping for more thickness next time. There you go! It's worth it, double layer wraps really improve the grip. Of course the holes to thread t...

Simple: for each Spydie I buy, she probably buys or gets gifted 10 books or more. ;)

Re: Reveal 8 ETA?

There have been enough delayed models that the Reveals have become no more useful than the catalog in terms of expectations. Yup. We’re into the fifth month for the 2021 standard catalog, and some knives still haven’t been released. I’m suspect the same is true for previous reveals, but I’ve stoppe...

Re: Swick 5 ETA?

It's nice that Sal chimed in. It just feels like this status was reported by him half a year ago already. No progress. Or is my memory failing me?

This is no criticism, it's no fault of Sal, probably not even the sheath maker's to blame. Just frustration about the whole Corona crap situation.....

Re: What Spyderco Did You Gift Today?

So far, I have only gifted one of the keychain mini bugs to my wife. Don't remember which one, Bug, Grasshopper, or Honeybee. She was rather indifferent... She tolerates my Spydie obsession, cause she sees how much joy it brings to me. We have 3 kitchen Spydies, but I use them too, so not real...

Re: Happy birthday, archangel!

Thanks guys! :) It was a very fine day, sunny, spend most day chilling in the garden. In the afternoon I had some of my favourite cake (NY Cheese Cake made by my wonderful wife), yummy food delivered to our house, and just now I finished a fine glass of Jim Beam Devil's Cut otr, also a gift. A very ...

Re: Sal - What's next for the Military?

Much was already said. More steels are always welcome! I think we're indeed missing a Maxamet Millie. 2-3 years ago, Maxamet was THE hottest s**t it seems, yet it hasn't been offered with a Millie, and I don't get why. I'm rather sure we will see a Millie in MagnaCut and SPY27 eventually. Millie 2 C...

Re: Paracord wrap da Mule - collection of tutorials for different designs/techniques

Understood. Thanks for your participation! Two more questions: Both my mules have a two layer wrap. Mule 1 has a cored outer shell paracord 550 base layer, while for the other I have used the three inner strands. Gives the whole thing more flesh for a better grip. You guys don't do this? Alternative...
