Re: Which should be the next model in Cru-carta?

I voted for the N5. It's the smallest spydie of the available selection. Would probably result in the lowest price. Plus the N5 is a masterpiece (all except the LW). :)

It would be a true gem.

Re: SpyOpera, Brouwer, ...

Ikuchi. A super slicer, and it rides really deep in your pocket.

Don't worry about the discussions about how hard it is to deploy the blade. All just a matter of breaking in this beauty, and finding the best technique (the hand has more fingers than just the index finger ;) ).

So, is this going to be the hardest to obtain initially and most popular "regular production" model PM2 or any Spyderco model for that matter?

I think it's hard to beat the Maxamet PM2 in this aspect, at least during the first many months.

Re: Cruwear Micarta PM2 Full liners

posted about it on the other reveal thread. Personally this is a new direction for PM2s, but some may not like it due to the added heft. I personally would like some heft to the PM2 especially for a beater/daily use knife. EDIT: did not see the .1 oz less weight, which is surprising for full liners...

Re: Reveal 7 Live!

Lastly, the new Roadie colors are awesome. Maybe we can thank Doc Dan for asking for more earth tones? ;) As I looked through it, I was thinking to myself how so many of those knives were requested by members here on this forum. I'm sure we're a fraction of Spyderco's overall sales, but I think it'...

Eric looks like he’s fresh off a whaling ship ;)

(Haven't watched the video yet) You know what? I didn't even recognize him, thinking the exact same thing. Thought it was some fisherman talking about knives... :)

Re: Reveal 7 Live!

I'm glad to see that the LilNature slippie will finally see the light. The Roadies in more cool colors are neat as well. More slipjoints, please! The Phoenix sprint will be sold out in no time. What a cool design... Even if it'd cost $400, it will go fast! Z-Max hopefully finds its way into a folde...

Please post when you see them in stores. I've seen KC set up and publish a "New :spyder: Reveal" special website literally an hour after the reveal went online - but not this time...

Where have you seen the price Wartstein?

Now we just need a Cru-carta Millie 🤞

This and the Manix XL are the two Golden models I want to see next. Then all of the Seki models... :D

Another vote for the Manix XL, but I'd rather see it in 4V..... ;)

Wow, three new members on this page alone with 1 or 2 posts just asking about the Shaman. This one is going to be hard to get just like the Cruwear.
The new Cruwear/Micarta PM2 might change things a little

Very true.

Re: Z-Wear Shaman: availability discussion & lookout thread

...is this a cry for Cru/Z-Wear to be added as a regular lineup steel or what? :D Not certain if I really need a Shaman*, but the cru-carta thing is very tempting! *Disclaimer: I need NO additional knives whatsoever, but I still love you Spyderco. Off Topic: I love your Disclaimer. :) Stating the o...

Re: A Tale of Two SD Knives

Nice, thanks. Anyway.......

I'm sure there are good reasons for designing a SD knife with a wharnie blade, probably just as many as there are for an upswept pointy blade with a belly.

Re: A Tale of Two SD Knives

Plus several collab knives, like the Szabo Folder, Tighe Stick, Battlestation, (and maybe more) that all have an upswept blade, or in case of the Battlestation tanto blade with upswept tip. I really don't know too much about each collab partners, but I think I remember that they/some have a tactical...

Re: Your longest period of time WITHOUT a Spydie purchase

1993-2016 (23 years) my first knife was the ladybug and my first knife back was the pacific salt. it's small potatoes around here, but i have twelve spydies now. https://i.postimg.cc/jj6HD2Mj/CFA9-BBF1-804-A-4-D49-A3-A4-1-A1252-E7-DDAC.jpg My first Spydie was a Pacific Salt as well! :) Still in my ...

Your longest period of time WITHOUT a Spydie purchase

I know there are many here that have been, and still are, Spyderco lovers for many years but don't in fact buy new Spydies all the time. This is of course totally ok!! I for my part still look forward to see my collection growing every year. Pace has slowed down though, mostly because of my "collect...

Farid Mehr, Peter Szabo, and Brian Tighe. Their collab knives are super intimidating, thus super cool. :) I'd love to see more Spydies with their designs & logos.
