I better buy my respect now before it jumps in price. Wish I had purchased the darn daos when they first came out.

You're into the really small knives, huh?

I forgot: I'm definitely gonna get a Serrata. That's 100% for sure. And I'm SO looking forward to this big piece of metal! :D

Oh, and pleeeeeeeease Sal, don't stop bringing out G10 models with visible steel liners completely.......

Are you done with 2019, Spydie wise? What do you wish for in 2020?

Didn't want to hijack Vivi's thread. I for my part am done with growing my collection for this year. It was a good year. Scratched off quite a good number of steels, and found at least two super Spydies that match my preferences oh so well: the Smock with its discrete flipper, and the Para 3 with CF...

Re: Wire clip for Techno & Slysz Bowie

Thanks SG. Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss it on the website. I sent them an email.

I'm happy I found out that the Slysz clip is exactly what the Battlestation is missing. :)

Re: Wire clip for Techno & Slysz Bowie

Either way, I would love to get one for my Mantra. Does anyone know how I could go on about ordering one? You can order one through the Spyderco Factory Outlet. http://www.spyderco.com Welcome to the Spyderco Forum! How do I do it? Email them? The clip is not listed as orderable item, or is it and ...

Re: Pocket Clip Sizing/Compatibility Info

Can the wire on the Battlestation be replaced with a deep carry version? The screw is relatively far away from the scale end, and the wire goes towards the middle, so there's a big chunk sticking out of the pocket...

Re: Spyderco Logo close up

Very cool pictures, thank you! M4 Para 3 seems to be different from the other two, seems to have no "contour line" while on the K390 and Maxamet it really sticks out in your pics. And the mouth really varys BIG time. Can anyone explain this? They're all made in Golden, right?!

Re: Hope for the Caly 3.5?

I am all for a sprint run with different steels, and I wouldn’t care what color the G10 was but physically, leave the handle alone. It is unique and perfect, and the one underrated trait that seldom gets mentioned is maintance on a Caly 3.5. One pivot screw and this knife is tore down to clean. No ...

Re: Hope for the Caly 3.5?

With all the talk about the upcoming lightweight, I figured there should be some discussion about it's fat counterpart. I'm one of those weirdos who really loves the standard G10/linered version(of almost everything), it's honestly my favorite Spyderco with a choil. But amidst all the chatter about...

Re: 32 Spydies, a white round coffee table, and home alone...

Thanks guys, you're too kind.

I am proud of my collection though. Only one spydie that I'd rather replace with another model (it would cost too much though), and some that I wish had different scales. But you can't really have everything, right?

I do wish I had some talent in taking better pictures.

You're right, and apparently that MT is still available. I don't think there was ever any non-Mule spydie with it. And some guys here would love to have it.

Re: List of available knife steels not yet used by Spyderco for sales

Thanks Steve, I'm good. Hope you are, too! :) I really don't follow that many threads here, so I can't really say. But I'm a bit bummed to learn that only S45VN and 15V have been kind of confirmed to appear in a Spydie that is to be released for sales, be it a sprint or a serial production model. I ...

Re: Task for a photoshop professional

So, I played with it a bit more today. I take Para 3 blade, resize it to match LilN blade, match the pivots and then I add another bit of blade that the jump between the scale and blade is now gone. https://i.imgur.com/Vi5OgAK.jpg Everybody has a preference, but I think making Lil Para is like maki...

Re: Task for a photoshop professional

Good job both, appreciated! Pancake's version looks more right though, proportion-wise. Just needs a little stretch of the blade's spine, so that the spydiehole js a little more to the right. I wish I had your talents... By the way: I'd buy that Lil' Para-Native!! :D Uh, I like that name, too!! :eek...

Ok, I see that. It needs a longer spine, I guess.
