Re: So I want to try a Native.

I owned two FRN N5 and sold them. I ended up with a G10 N5 S35VN with liners. This is the best package for me. Feels so much better than the FRN lightweight. Overall the N5 is a five-star-design. Superb! Same with the Stretch. First owned a Stretch 1 lw, sold it, got a Stretch 2 G10 instead. And lov...

Re: Large slipjoint Spydie, anyone?

Hi Archangel, We have a prototype for a 3.5" blade UKPK that we call the CPK (Canadian Pen Knife - in house name). sal Hi Sal, With all due respect sir, I really am curious. What's the purpose of a slip joint folder that large? The same as any other blade that size. Some places have laws against ca...

Re: Large slipjoint Spydie, anyone?

Yeah I know about it.

I'd love a regular production PM2 slippie. That would be perfect! A 3,5" CPK DP seems to be the next best thing.

Bigger is better. Didn't you know?

Large slipjoint Spydie, anyone?

The biggest currently available non-locking Spydie folder is the UKPK. Was there ever a Spydie with slip-joint and a pointy blade that was a good part longer than 3"? Say around 3,5", like the PM2?

Who besides me would want one?

Re: Forum Knife 2020 - No Holds Barred!!!

No holds barred... Hmm... My two pence: a Forum Knife must be something special. Specialty drives costs. A Forum Knife should be affordable to ALL true Spydienuts. A dilemma. Proposed solution: it's got to be a small model. My dream would be another classic folder with a Damasteel blade. Scales can ...

The reveal did say that SPY27 would be featured in select USA-made models. So not surprising.

^^ this. Pretty sure it's going to be used in all Golden models over time. Unless it underperforms, which I consider unlikely.

Re: Spyderco 2020 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming

I still think that putting a tanto blade into the PM2 is horrible  but I do appreciate how much smart thinking was put into this :spyder: elaboration. For those who buy it, it'll be great. If they'd given it its own model / design, I might have gotten one. But I'll never accept it as a true PM2.

I am sorry but it looks like some Böker or CRKT jobbie to me. Doesn't tickle anywhere at all.

Please, show me that Böker with a thick 20CV or similar quality stonewashed blade and titanium liners.

Re: My playlist Movie Songs

Thanks Chris. The Breakfast Club is among my ATFFs, and Don't You Forget About Me is a great song. Just one step away from being good enough for MY playlist. Eye Of The Tiger's the same. The others don't trigger any emotions in me. I'm sure they're great though, don't get me wrong. No hurt feelings ...

Re: Bombshell Flash Batch

It's the one new design of this reveal that has triggered a feeling of Wanna Have in me. Too few are to be made, and the price is too high for me, too. It's worth it, given the materials used, and its scarceness. Just unaffordable and too scarce for me... Pity, it would do great in my collection.

My playlist Movie Songs

I love music. And I strongly think that some movie songs belong to the best pieces of music ever composed. So I created my own movie songs playlist. I'm sure though that I'm missing some. Help me out. Focussed type are ballads, which is why songs like e.g. Wake Up by RATM is not on it, even though i...

Backspacers for Millie & PM2

I know that the Millie series has been designed with one focus of making them easily cleanable, and that a backspacer kind of defies this purpose. I have installed low cost backspacers to my Para 3 and PM2 anyway because I like the looks. After all I'd probably use a different spydie if I ever had t...
